I’ve had as a fan. College football in the South is more than just a game. It’s a religion. I like college baseball, but I would trade 20 CWS championships for one football championship. I would trade 20 basketball championships for one football championship. I am a big fan of the Atlanta Braves, but I would trade five World Series Championships for one college football championship.
There was a point in my life where I wondered if I would ever witness UGA win a natty in football. Not anymore. Being at the top of the mountaintop in the world’s greatest sport is an indescribable feeling. And I feel sorry for all of you who will never experience that in your lifetime.

Glad you got to have that feeling buddy. Just don't take it for granted and assume this is a new normal.

You’re right. I have completely forgotten what it feels like to lose to Auburn or even respect Auburn. Next time we lose to you it will be a gut wrenching feeling. Can’t take anything for granted.

Feeling the same about the good guys - will we ever win one? I think the answers yes but will I be dead and gone beforehand? Let’s hope they have TVs in hell!

I was alive during the Bryant years and experienced his natties but I have to admit I took them somewhat for granted as that was all I had ever experienced and thought it would last forever. After Bryant and multiple mediocre to bad teams and coaches I too wondered if I would ever see another one. The almost mystical experience you're talking about is exactly how I felt when we beat Miami with Coach Stallings in 1992, really hard to describe.

As a BAMA fan, I'll say that it is a great feeling. We've had a great run, and it's not over yet, so we're blessed with that feeling.
Animosities aside, I'm glad you got to experience it, as well as some other UGA fans....not all of y'all
Sure, I want to see BAMA dominate every year, but as has been said in the past, you have to play the game, and some Saturdays anything can happen, and sometimes does.
Enjoy the feeling, but as a BAMA fan, I hope you don't get too used to it

While I would like Alabama to win every NC in football I realize that it will not happen (it is coming close though under Coach Saban.) I understand the joy of winning and the year you experience, enjoy.
What is really great is that while Coach Saban has been at Alabama, Florida, LSU, Auburn, and Georgia have all won NC as well. SEC SEC SEC indeed.....
