Henry's a monster, and if I'm a DB, I don't want to be anywhere near his route. But does anyone else think he runs a bit too high? It could cost him against some SEC defenses.

Yeah, you sound like a smart guy whose opinion people should take seriously.

I believe Henry hurt his shoulder in the 2nd Quarter vs tOSU and didn't play much if any after that.

I don't believe Kiffin's the greatest OC in the world and his play-calling was very questionable against Ohio State but he didn't cost us the game. The defense gave up 537 yards and 281 rushing yards. Kirby and Saban deserved a lion's share of the blame for the Ohio State loss. It's been three years since the loss to Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M and there's still been no improvement in their ability to stop spread offenses. And guess what? Most of the best teams in the nation run spread offenses. Until they can devise a defense to slow it down, they won't win another national championship anytime soon.

Totally different year.

Totally different team makeup - different type of QB and the best WR in the country make your play calling a lot different.

Silly thread.

Maybe. Maybe not. But either way, we aren't doing "whiny, what-if" threads nine months later like angry sorority girls on the SEC Rant.

I agree. He looked unstoppable against OSU but Kiffin wanted to let his athlete playing QB pass the ball instead.

I don't disagree that Henry maybe should've had more touches vs OSU, but defense is to blame for that one. Even when we were up 21-6 I NEVER felt like Bama was in control or even really winning. Ohio State's offense was moving, they just weren't finishing. You can only bend so much before you break. The D that year actually did a lot of bending instead of just stopping people.

The defense can only do so much, we all knew it was limited.

The offense? Don't fix what's not broken. Henry was killing OSU.

Henry doesn't have good vision so if the hole isn't there, he's incredibly ineffective. He also doesn't break tackles particularly well until he gets about 10 yards downfield and picks up momentum. See the Ole Miss game last year.

On the other hand, TJ Yeldon was great. He has terrific vision and cutback ability and was able to slice and dice us.

Maybe Henry has developed better vision in the offseason. I'm more worried about Kenyan Drake, to be honest.
