You guys brag on Surtain and he’s really good, but Malachi Moore is better. He’s the true freshman LSU wanted Stingley to be. Kid is unreal on tape. Physical and sticky as hell. Gonna be tough to score 30 on you guys.

Malachi is a beast. Far better than Stunkley. Surtain has done a great job this year. Moore has made a few more impactful plays.

Probably not much film on Surtain.

He is incredible, but also gets many more opportunities.

Surtain isn't picked on as much.

Both take advantage of their opportunities to make plays.

Moore's skillset and potential was known. But, his football IQ seperates him. He learned the defense over zoom and found his way onto the field and as a starter in a complex CNS defensive scheme as a true freshman.

Best young player in the secondary since Minkah Fitzpatrick for Bama

This is probably true, if the "film" is just replays of TV broadcasts. Surtain doesn't get thrown at often.

He was the highest graded corner in the country as a true freshman.

Your statement

Is ignorant.

But no one really bothers trying to throw at Surtain.

PFF is a joke. Anyone who gets dog walked like he did against Van Jefferson isn’t that good.

So I guess you're guaranteeing that Moore will be a unanimous All-American.

Moore was a liability early, but he’s shown out at safety as a TF at a level only Minkah Fitzpatrick has under Saban.

He’s not Minkah now and may never get there, but he’s playing at an incredible level for a TF.

But let’s be clear, there are still mistakes that are made which can be exploited by high level passing attacks.

Your best opportunities are against the other safety, our nickel back and our LBs trying to cover your guys in space.

If you try to make a living throwing at Jobe and Surtain you will probably have a bad night because they’ve been as consistent a duo at CB as any duo I can remember.

4 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown is getting "dog walked?"

I have the all 22. Teams attack Moore way more for sure.

On 5 snaps before Fulton took over for him and switched sides.

He should be the SEC Defensive Freshman of the Year. His instincts are Minkah good.

Our cornerback group (including the nickelback/Dime guys - Moore and Branch) are as good as we've ever had. Battle has gotten better at safety.

Wright and the linebackers, however, are a damned adventure.
