As always, you'll get your chance against both. I'm sure you think you're gonna win with ease. I mean why wouldn't you?

Still, had the near two quarter nothing on offense though. And he didn't burn us running much in the second half with the adjustments.
UA should have run between the tackles more in the 2H. Baffling that they hardly even tried to, given uga’s focus on containing the edge in the 2H. And the fact that UA has an incredibly strong IOL.

But I would think Tennessee and LSU especially are probably gonna make a good many explosive plays on Bama's secondary though.
Thanks for the analysis. So you're basically saying they (Alabama) are awful in the secondary against teams with capable passing offenses. I saw South Florida receivers running wide open all day except their QB was very inaccurate. I knew they were going to have trouble down the road.
I also believe their DL is pretty average. They rotate a lot of guys but there is no great or even very good players in the rotation.

Georgia always seems to get their shite together in the 4th quarter against Bama. In the last 3 meetings, the bulk of their points were scored in the 4th. Luckily thus far it's only cost Bama one game but that's not a great trend for us, especially after last weekend's game.
2022 NC game: 20 points in the fourth (after 0 in the first, 6 in the second and 7 in the third).
2023 SECCG: 14 points in the fourth (after 7 in the first, 0 in the second and 3 in the third)
Last week: 19 in the fourth (after 0 in the first, 7 in the second and 8 in the third).

Kirby’s presser. Don’t take too much from the second half O.

Interesting to know that UGA controls the national media and the Vegas odds makers

Ohio State has the talent to beat Alabama, but our defense must contain Milroe and prevent him from beating us with his legs.
You haven't played anyone yet to know what kind of team you have. You have played one of the weakest schedules in all of college football so far.

Lots of ifs for both teams. That's usually how these games go. If the refs throw the flag on the obvious PI, the game is over in the first half. If our defense catches the other 4 balls Beck threw directly to them, the game isn't close. Between Saturday night and the SEC title game last year, I bet Bama dropped 10 picks.
I'm sure they'll play again an no doubt both teams' coaches will have their teams ready.

I've seen lots of stuff like this trying to put lipstick on the pig of what happened to Georgia. Seems like copium.
In what can be described as normal game conditions, start of the game to the half, Bama obliterated Georgia on both offense and defense. In the second half Bamas defense forced 7 4th downs, that's a stop in normal play, but Georgia was in desperation mode and happened against all odds to convert all of them. The probability of converting 5/5 4th downs (and having the refs give you 2 more) is very low, gotta be less than 3% chance of that happening.
Even the best teams on offense, which Georgia isn't, against bad defenses (which Bama isn't) it's a coin flip on a 4th down conversion statistically speaking. It's an anomaly, it's not really indicative if anything except something really weird happened in a game. Does bama need to clean stuff up? Of course, we are playing freshmen all over the place and are 4 games into new systems in both sides of the ball. That should make everybody pucker, we are only getting better, no where close to our ceiling on either side of the ball, and we are capable of doing that to Georgia, supposedly the best team in the country.

So did Ole Miss, Missouri and Tennessee before they played someone.
Even an average team would be undefeated on that schedule, it's terrible.

Anybody with a capable passing game, including Ohio State, is going to give Alabama problems.

That’s exactly what Ole Miss thought.

A lot of talk about the freshman D-back getting beat. He had one thrown to the front corner of the end zone and didn’t turn on the ball and it hit him in the arm. Lucky it wasn’t called PI. They came back with the same play again and he turned and had the ball and got the interception. He is going to be a great one when he gets experience.

Yeah he got beat a lot but so did the other guys. At least he caught the ball, unlike #3.
