I don’t know their names but hard to find weak spots. It’s a bit early I understand. I am an old guy who calls them like I see them. LSU will be a hard nut to crack.

You never really know this early but anything less than Omaha is going to cause LSU baseball fans to turn into an angry mob. Injuries are always a factor

This team is so deep that for the first time since the 90’s squads I feel pretty good about our chances this year

Our fans will be an angry mob regardless unless we win it all and even then there'll be melters anytime we happen to lose a game, there were melters in the 3rd inning of our game today. Just how tRant is. But admittedly the expectations should be high for this team because on paper this probably is the most talented team we've had in a very long time. And I hate to say it because I generally don't like using superlatives, but maybe most talented ever? And I distinguish "most talented" from "best", because you can't be the best until the mission is accomplished imo, but this may very well be the most talented team LSU has had on paper, at least probably the deepest. And I try to be as unbiased as I can

We won it all last year. But most Ole Miss fans believe Bianco’s most talented team was 2005. Yet we got beat in the Supers. Funny game of streaks. Everything was working on time last year. It does make this game fun.

Sorta like how a lot of us LSU fans think that 2006 football team was more talented than the 07 team but the 07 team got the hardware so they'll go down in history as better even though they had the same amount of losses. That's just how it shakes out sometimes.
There's many teams out there in many sports that may go largely forgotten outside of their fandom simply because they didn't hit ultimate paydirt. That's partially a tragedy, but also partially the beauty of what it means to win it all. That's also why I love these forums because, among the fun shite talking we have amongst each other as rival fans, once in a while you'll see someone wave the flag of a forgotten team that was really good that just didn't get it done in the end or a team that had a really fun season and it conjures up the memories.
Obviously I'm hoping for this LSU team to hit that paydirt but I've watched enough baseball to know shite happens a lot of the time. I just want to enjoy watching this team and what they can do and they've shown a lot of early promise and excited to see what's in store for better or worse.

As a sensible LSU fan, I agree with earlier comments that we will be an angry mob if we’re not making noise in Omaha this year.

Ignoring 2019 LSU that 2016 squad is possibly the most talented team top to bottom LSU has ever had. 2011 was also insane but Bama was a sliver better.
