How many people were hating on Pittman?

I'm pretty sure people were just making fun of Arkansas for striking out on a bunch of candidates

Pittman is great and I hope he has a good run at Arkansas.........With that said, Mike DuBose had similar moments when he first got the job at Alabama, and that was disaster. On the flip side, so did Dabo and Eaux, and those were big successes.

Who knows how it plays out - good to see a guy like that get a shot. You know that if he does fail it won't be due to lack of effort.

I think he gets us to a bowl game year 2, if he hires a good staff, that’s the key.

You guys are good folks and great fans and Pittman seems like the type who gets how you have to win there. Hope it works outs. You guys deserve better than what you've gotten the last few years.

I think most people are happy for him. I'm thrilled he is no longer at Georgia for damn sure. His olines have been a pain in our arse.

I’m afraid to admit this in a public forum, but I actually like the Pittman hire.

Who knows at this point how good he'll be. Is there a more uninspiring speaker than Belichick?

This dude may be the real deal.

I think he is exactly what Arkansas needs. The man loves Arkansas and wants to be the razorback coach. He will pour his heart and soul into this team. He’s not there like Mullen at State just looking for a good season to haul his arse and take a more prestigious job at the first chance. This is THE job to him. That is a man whose love of Arkansas and the razorbacks will bring back pride in the program. He just needs to get great coordinators and he be the heart at soul of the program. I think they did good with the hire.
