Arkansas has always had the "wait till next year" mentality. I don't think it will ever change unfortunately

I think so too, that said, I'm not sure it's worth it. Basically, Arkansas (a good but not great football school) took Bert (a good but not great coach) and is going to pay him elite money for good but not great results in an elite conference.
You could do the same thing for cheaper, and without having your school bashed for his idiotic comments.

I don't think you know the difference between having an alternate opinion and trolling your own.

doesn't change the fact that the return on investimate for 2012 was poor.... zero wins for chiz and less less than 5 conference wins for barbee.
we also shouldn't have given him the huge raise to begin with... that's on the AD.

How is this trolling his own? If the guy thinks Long is making terrible hires, that's his opinion. Countless AU fans made "fire Jay Jacobs" threads. Just because he's calling you guys out for being disturbingly optimistic/delusional, doesn't mean he's trying to troll you.

Not many at all actually, but of course he didn't go winless in the SEC that year.
Now I will grant most fans wanted to fire Jacobs after he announced the hire, but once Chizik got there, the fans were patient.
