re: Was Saturday a good wake up call for UGA or does that loss send them into a tailspin?

I’m just not sure they have it in them. Talented? Absolutely.

Even of the CFP teams, Bama was always going to be the toughest one for UGA. They really needed to do everything they could have to beat y’all in the SECCG and prevent a rematch scenario.

Simply put: if you’re UGA, you throw everything possible in the SECCG to keep Bama out.

I like Harper's statement, "they have a Bama problem"

No edge rushers for UGA...the recipe to disrupt Bama offense this year.

So you think beating Michigan to make it to the NCG is a “tailspin”?

Are you confident they do that now? On paper they should blow them out but would you be surprised if they lost?

UGA has collected a high level of talent for a while now but they lack a scheme/system that allows them to capitalize on it. Michigan has already beaten tOSU soundly so talent alone might to impress them. And a fragile as UGAs psyche is the Bame beating (because it was so unexpected and so complete) likely brings them down to Michigans level. Give Michigan a bit of confidence and the 1980 joke just get funnier.

I think it's an absolute coin flip. Anyone claiming to know what happens next is just guessing.

Losing Adam Anderson and some db depth this year really hurt our chances against an elite passing team

No room to "tailspin" with at most one loss left

A tail spin could only happen if it continues next year like it did for uf after the shoe toss.

At the same time, it could be argued UGA is on a 40+ year tailspin

Well it doesn't sound they are ready for Michigan and losing all their seniors doesn't speak well for the future. So, I think there's a solid chance we don't see UGA in the top 10 again for awhile.

Only by an idiot who doesn’t know what a tail spin is, and a UF fan should have a better idea after seeing it happen in 2010,2014,2017, and 2021.

McElroy and Cublic disagreed on this. Good question though

Kirby is going to lose this fan base with one more beatdown by the Tide if they decide to play the little cowboy.

Losing 41-24 bama has happened twice. Getting used to it.

Florida tailspinning has happened 4x in 11, not 12, years. Getting used to it?

Hard to say. I think Michigan will be a a better fit for Georgia. It will probably be a close physical game but I think Georgia pulls out a win.
