Did Saban introduce this chant to LSU to try to fire up the fanbase and get them more motivated and involved in games?

Saban did a number on the LSU psyche.

They love him and hate him, just like an old unrequited love.
This little guy arrived in their lives like a tidal wave and shook them up and made them proud to be football fans again. Suddenly they weren't stinky, offbeat losers who spoke a virtually unintelligible patois vernacular any longer. They were somebody.
Then the little man packed up and headed to Miami and coonasses, en masse, wept and gnashed their tooth in anguish. They somewhat understood this though and could rationalize his leaving them. It was the NFL, after all.
All was somewhat well in Crawdad Alley for a short while and life went on at its normal, boring, pulling in the nutria rat traps pace that it always had.
Then, all at once, the little guy decided to take a job at Alabama, a team with no history with LSU in any way whatsoever in terms of competition or valued history, and LSU fans have never quite been whatever they may have once been ever again.
Saban ruined their jambalaya and crapped in their gumbo pot of life.
Roll Tide!

Alabama fan spends his Friday night making memes about LSU to demonstrate (checks notes) how obsessed LSU fans are with Alabama.

I’ve never seen something be so purposefully misconstrued than how Bama fans think we think of Saban.
Every single LSU fan
-thinks Saban is tGOAT
-thinks his run at Bama is the best ever
-laments that it didn’t happen at LSU
-Feels confident it would have had he stayed
-hates Bama
-wanted to beat him and them
How is this confusing lol
Bama fans during their run would basically get mad that other fanbases maintained a sense of competitive animosity. As if they wanted us all to smile and clap for them and ruin the atmosphere of CFB. Odd shite

Bama fans are in a weird place right now, post-Saban.
They are just lashing out blindly
