Was it a good idea to pick Ole Miss for homecoming?

Conventional wisdom says pick an easy win to throw your fans a bone. Granted if the Tigers beat Ole Miss it will be legendary. I think it was an egregious mistake. You are now giving more fodder for CHF to use as motivation. He can tell our players they don't respect you because they think so little of you that they made you their bitch for HC. Granted these things are planned in advance and I know we did the same thing to UT. The UT game was close at first partly due in part to how fired up they were and how angry they were on defense. Know CBJ used that same fodder. With all things being considered equal the small things matter. That is just one more among many reasons I believe LSU doesn't win this game.

The OM players don't need any other motivation, and they don't give a shite about homecoming.

Based on past performance, could you really blame them?

The oddest part to me is they had the perfect HC game last week. They were coming home after a road game and playing a shite east team. Playing us as HC doesn't even make sense. They played at home last week.

If LSU loses it wont be because Ole Piss was upset over this being our homecoming game. And if you are, get the frick over it!. And LSU beating Ole Piss would not in any circumstance ever be legendary. Ever!. It would just be restoring the natural order and beating you little whiny punks.

Maybe when the schedule was made. Now, not so much.

Scheduling situation forced LSU into this.
They wanted 2 byes before Bama and before aTm.

The most legendary event in LSU history involved beating Ole Miss in 1959 on Halloween night.
You young kids should do a little reading up on your school before posting. Just a suggestion.

Apparently it was a game played last season that is widely celebrated by a small college in Mississippi

It is pretty obvious we are not only their HC but their Super Bowl.

Nobody gives a shite about homecoming. Nobody.

Not proud to bring up the fact that we lost to Vandy last year, but it wouldn't stop me from scheduling them for homecoming.
