The red line is cute, except the QB hands aren’t in control of the ball, thus, not possessing the ball with control. At the point of that frame, the ball had been detached and moving away from his hands. The ball was actually 3” from his hands at that frame.

That said, Auburn completely folded & gave up on what was working from that moment on
This … it’s like Cardinal fans bitching for 40 years that Don Denkinger cost them the 1985 World Series. Not pointing out that the runner he incorrectly called safe was later forced out on the basepaths so he really was irrelevant, but for the rest of the ninth inning in Game 6 and all nine innings in Game 7 the Cardinals looked like nothing remotely approaching a major league team which was on them, just like Auburn folding like a cheap card table after that call went against them was on them.

Looked like a score.
Assuming all played out the same (which it would not have), game is a 3 pt loss. Lots of sad gamblers last night who had a chance to cash in on AU +3.5

That is a fumble. Secure the ball and it isn’t an issue

I understand why it was called a fumble on the field and I understand that no view we got was clear enough to overturn.

That video is not at all conclusive.
One of the potential risks of running the qb sneak is that it’s very difficult to officiate. It’s especially difficult when your qb fumbles the ball in traffic either at or just before the goal line.
