2020 Bama offense could have competed against some NFL defenses. Best offense I've ever seen in modern times. The 2nd string was in by most half times.
Mack Jones sucks.
Devonta Smith was your entire passing game and he’s a good not great WR in the NFL.
Harris is average.
The only team Alabama played that was better in 2020 than 2019 was A&M and they were still trash.

Pretty hard to lose a game when you're taking knees at midfield, up by 5.
All the other team can do is sit and watch.
If the other team scores to cut it to 5, then a successful onside kick means they have a chance to win.
That means the game was close.
Once you recover the kick, yes, you have the game won. But until that point the game was still in doubt.

11-0 in SEC play is uncharted waters and will never happen again. Everyone had the same covid rules Bama just navigated it better.

I agree, First Sergeant, as does most everyone in the thread. Roll Tide!

No one has ever known when an insides kick was coming because, as of this moment, there is no such thing as an insides kick.

I'm not a grammar nazi, I just have know idea what an insides kick is. I've got no problem with people that can't spell properly, don't know how to use punctuation, etc... and it isn't a real big deal. It's just when invented words are used that I start to get a bit confused.

judging by your posts I can’t imagine that’s the only situation you get confused.

No.
It's definitely up there but 2020 Alabama still had close games against both Ole Miss and Florida. I feel like in order for a team to be considered best ever they can't have had a single down game all season long. So we're talking teams like 1972 USC, 1995 Nebraska, etc.
The best team of all-time doesn't give up 650 yards of total offense against an unranked Ole Miss squad. That's just me being objective.

What individual award did b20 not get?

If you really want to compare the two I think LSU going into a packed DKR and Bryant Denny and scoring half a hundred in each game holds more weight than Bama doing the same in 25% full Neyland and Tiger Stadium against a blend of starters/promoted starters because of Covid positives.

Exactly. Playing in a scrimmage environment was probably a lot easier than in front of 90-100,000 drunk people.
