No they aren't.

It will just take a couple seasons before they can fully transition the offense.

Yeah. That option offense was awful.

I think we need to schedule Army for a home and home.

With them running that stupid offense, and the fact that they don't have as many stars recruited on their team, we are an absolute cinch to win.

I agree. I’m not saying Tech is Harvard but I don’t think they offer a number of degrees that most colleges do. Kind of like Vandy to a lesser extent, they are not going to attract some students because of that. Johnson’s offense gave them a chance to win some games they might not have won. While it wasn’t going to make them a CFP contender is anybody? It been a long time since Bobby Ross and those days. Even then Ross had some exceptional talent that year and the stars were kind of aligned. Johnson had his short comings but It could be a long time before Tech makes NY 6 bowl. If ever. But I’ve been wrong before and time will tell.

On the upside, the Bumbles are 5-7-1 all time against the Purple Tigers of Sewanee and those bastards would never come to Tennessee. Yellow Jackets my arse, more like Yellow Chickens.

They don't have the typical jock majors and everyone has to take calculus.

Harvard doesn't vote horse hair, so they got that going for them.

Yeah I mean that’s why I think Johnson did a good job there with the triple option. Army can play and should have beat Michigan because of it. Navy won a lot of games with it. My man Fisher DeBerry won a ton at Air Force with it. Tiny Wofford of the Southern Conference made a lot of FCS playoffs with it. I think Furman is in it some If you don’t have the athletes it’s not a bad offense. Control the clock and eat up time, bust a big play here and there. Make the other team play assignments.

CNB, just for your info....

Sewanee lost twice to Citadel, but has never lost to Clemson.

(another SEC school Clemson has a losing record to)

e doesn't seem to have anything noteworthy on his resume

He was the best coach McElwain ever hired. Our defense didn’t skip a beat after champ left until Champs players left of course. Also an Atlanta guy.

I don't know the timing of this, but why in the world did Georgia Tech hire Geoff Collins?

because he plays a modern era of O? GT has 12 scholarship RB's and no TE's. It will take him some time to recruit his guys.

UGA's SOS just got weaker. That was their number 3 game.

It's at least a 3 year rebuild. We are awful and have no depth and little talent on the line of scrimmage but we really appreciate you guys showing us the way when it comes to being embarrassed by The Citadel.

My only consolation when it comes to you guys is at least we resisted the urge to hire Muschamp. His name was brought up years ago but with him being a mutt people went nuts and Muschamp was quickly dropped from consideration.

Well just about everything>capris for the moment. Glad we don't have Muschamp though.

He's got to recruit his arse off for a few years. Then maybe he can make everyone forget about the capris. We'll see.
