Saw Tennessee is #2 in the country in returning production according to SB Nation. It would be great for college football if Alabama had another game to worry about every year.

No, UT will suck. 0-8 in conference this year...will be lucky to hang with Georgia State on Saturday.

To be fair, only one Big 6 member has beaten Bama since 2012

Y'all act like Tennessee is performing against us any differently than 90% of our schedule or any possible scheduling match-ups from the other division.

Alabama vs Florida during Saban Era
Alabama leads 6-1
Average score : Alabama 35-16

Alabama vs Georgia during Saban Era
Alabama leads 5-1
Average score : Alabama 33-24

Alabama is 11-0 vs Georgia and Florida since 2009 (the last 10 years).

LSU is 9-5 vs Georgia and Florida since 2009 (the last 10 years).

But please, tell me more!

So they beat you more than other teams. Got it.

The stats love us (good returning production, good combined recruiting classes, etc) but until I see an OL that functions, I'd stay the hell away. We haven't produced on offense for the past three seasons because our OL has been absolutely pitiful. You can't win many games when the OL is in the 120s.

Am hoping for 6+ wins this season and a bowl game. I think CJP is changing the culture in K-town and recruiting is picking up nicely. Vol fans are tired of rebuilding fatigue. But we are slowly and painfully 'for Vol fans' progressing. And I think I see some light at the end of the tunnel.

We've lost 1 time to either one since we got good in 2008. That Florida team won the national title.

We won’t be “good” but we’ll be better than the last 2 years. We could put a team or two on upset alert, but that would probably be UF/UGA, not Bama. We won’t be in contention for the east. Consensus prediction is 7-5. Our schedule is easier than usual, and like you said we return a lot, so if we don’t at least make a bowl there’s a problem.

UTjr. is #2 in the country in returning production % for their team from last year. Only problem is, that production led to the 13th scoring offense and 12th scoring defense in the SEC.....

Eh, I think 8-4 is our ceiling. We could easily go 5-7 again if the injury bug bites us.

I think we'll go 7-5 with one big upset on the year. Pruitt has shown a propensity to sneak up on folks as an underdog.

6 wins +/- 1. Will be an unwatchable product in all likelihood.
