Twenty years after quarterbacking @Vol_Football to a national title, @coachtee17 has agreed to return to his alma mater as an assistant coach, sources told ESPN. Contract details and his specific title are still being finalized. He had several other options, some in the SEC.

Assume he will be WR coach and recruiting coordinator. Very good recruiter.

Good to see the Champion come back home. Damn it’s refreshing to have an AD at Tennessee again who you know is absolutely actually obsessed with winning football games. Overall top to bottom the coaching staff is stacked with credibility. No way Chaney and Tee are on the staff in a Schiano/Curry reality

People can shite on Phil all they want but not many programs can say their AD is 100% commited to winning football games and do whatever it takes to win.

That’s great for the Vols, I felt like there was a massive culture issue the past decade when alumni wasn’t a big part of the program to include coaching. He will be a HC soon.

Look Phil definitely ain’t always been perfect and can be stubborn ole redneck at times, but he’s the recklessly obsessed with winning big in football again AD the program needed, quite frankly. Someone who immediately canceled the cute corporate Neyland project just because he needs to worry about fixin football

Why would we?
Win something first.
What’s taking Pruitt so long?

Congrats. I didn't follow what happened with him after he left UK, but he was a decent coach and good recruiter during his time here. Not sure if that changed after his time on the west coast.

If memory serves Thomas Brown the Vols won it all more recently than UGA. How's your search for coordinators going?
