That's what Aggies are saying. They're gonna make a serious run at Tony.

In true aggy fashion they'll be flashing lots of moola at him. Question is, will Tony take the bait and kill his career? Go to aggyland where coaches go to retire.

Poor aggies

Years back there was one dude that had TexAgs believing that Steve Spurrier was about to come be Kevin Sumlins Offensive Coordinator

Has anyone else noticed that all these 'big moves' with 'big coaches' in football, basketball and baseball at A & M don't seem to work out?

Was Schloss not a "big move," or did the fact that he left mean it "didn't work out." Jackie Sherrill worked out. I wouldn't classify Buzz Williams's tenure a failure. Really, it seems like you're talking about Jimbo, because no one else falls into that category.

Doubtful. Then again would never have believed O’Conner would consider MSU

the amount of money it would take for him to leave Tenn would be staggering....and they would do it just get one up on Texas. Never underestimate the amount of money they will spend to get one over on us.
Be hard to sell how much it would cost them. Baseball isn't a very popular sport. Most of us here love it but most don't.

I'd kick the tires if I were him. In the end, it's a job and you only have so many years to earn money. And in the coaching game, you have to strike while it is hot.

They tried that last year and Vitello turned them down in about fifteen minutes.

And I thought you were one of the reasonable posters. Newsflash: Not everything is about Texas.

It's embarrassing is what it is...it's only the Whorns who post information obtained from Texags, claim it as truth, and then fail to source their material. Then again, this is TRant

It would be the most Aggy thing ever to pay HUGE $$ to rent a coach for a couple of seasons til DVH retires. I could see it.

He couldn't beat LSU.

The pimp cane UCLA debacle was the final straw.

No that would be RC.

He only needed a competency OC and we would have been fine.

lol. Vitello ain’t leaving UT for any job but maybe Arkansas.

He isn’t leaving UT for A&M.

A&M will have the same coach next season that they did this season.

Worst feeling I’ve ever had watching a football game, including the botched goal line play against Bama in 2022.

How are TV and Wes Johnson going to split the coaching duties?
