North Louisiana mebbe. Definitely not the southern part of the state.

The truth is, Ar-kansas is distinctly different. I can't recall what crazy dish you guys I eat that I never heard of anyone else eating anywhere. And you're talking to a guy that has traveled extensively already, and plans to do a lot more.

IIRC, it had something to do with gravy.

Just remember, Laetitia is pregnant, Tiffany is getting a bit long in the tooth, and there are two different Garys. Avoid the fat one.

Also there hasn't been an STD break out there in at least a year. Probably a year. Close to one anyway.

Condolences on visiting Arkansas.

I keep telling you; once you get far enough away from Tennessee, Arkansas is great!

Biscuits and? Chocolate? Red eye? Some Italians call spag sauce gravy? Sausage? Fried chicken? Roast beef (au jus?) and I've seen folks do deer meat with gravy- other than those I'm lost on what you're referring to.

I have tried to visit at least 1 new stadium each year for the past couple. This year I am going to Fayetteville for the Auburn game. What are the must see things for a visitor? I like to get the full gameday experience. TIA

If you have time on your trip take HWY 21 north out of Clarksville off of I40. You will go thru Ozone and stay on 21 toward Ponca. You will go thru Boxley Valley and thru Kingston. Go west thru Huntsville and then on into Fayetteville. Go to Ponca and check out the Elk heard on the upper end of the Buffalo River. If natural Beauty is your thing that is a great route if you have time. Good luck finding a room on Fayetteville. 99 percent of the folks you meet will be friendly . Disregard the 1 percent that is not.
You can take a map of Arkansas and draw a line from NE to SW. The N and W part of the state is second to none. The easter half is well like Mississippi. Have fun on your trip.

Little Rock and NW Arkansas are probably much more beautiful than you would suspect. Love to visit there.

Have you booked your hotel room yet? If not you want to get on that as soon as possible. Fayetteville fills up quickly for game day weekends. Don't forget to look at Rogers and Bentonville as well for a place to stay, it is a pretty easy drive from there to the stadium.

Try to get to the stadium early if you can, we should have a packed house for that game and parking fills up quickly. If it wasn't on the weekend I'd suggest parking somewhere in town and taking the bus to campus to avoid the hassle (free public transit system in Fayetteville) but I don't know if the buses will be running on a game weekend.

You must have grown up in a little podunk town that was scared to go to the "Big City". Little Rock is a pretty cool town if you have the resources to enjoy it. Great hunting, fishing, golf, hiking/riding trails, and probably the best food scene in the state.

Parts of Little Rock are fine but the bad parts bleed in a little too freely. I grew up in Arkansas and live in Fayetteville now, but lived in Chicago for several years and have visited every major city in the country except Boston and Minneapolis/St Paul and I don't much care for Little Rock

No I didn't grow up in a "little Podunk town", I went to a 7A school. I hike pinnacle mountain regularly and go eat in Little Rock at least once a week. Also fish on the river a lot. So I am in little rock quite a bit and it's still a really crappy city.

walk up and down dickson street.

Fayetteville is criminally underrated...typically by people who've obviously never set foot there. It's a fun town and a nice stadium.
