Never say never. And just because y'all are terrified of big bro Clemson potentially joining the SEC doesn't mean the rest of us will vote against them.

That’s during the Matt Luke era too when the program was dead and going through bowl bans. Much higher now.

You're insufferable. The faster you realize your football program is total trash in every conceivable way the better off we all will be. Just accept it

Man I can't wait until the season starts and we can have actual games to talk about instead of this realignment stuff. I've had my fill of all the speculation about what teams will be in what conference in a few years.

No one. Sec should go redux. Buck the trend. Make similar $$$ and reduce the waste.

Which state exactly are you talking about?

Texas/Georgia rejects, Memphis (think larger Jackson) Via Tennessee , or the Mississippi minority?

Games that do not have available data were counted as zero.

So how many games have no available data? This seems like a potentially huge statistical hole.

More folks might have been interested when they first joined since they were much better. But apparently folks up there probably care more about pro sports.

Or maybe the tvs with rabbit ears don’t register on the viewership radar………..

Couldn’t help it….

Nope. Number of cable subscribers in the state was why Missouri was a desirable add with the deal Slive was negotiating with ESPN at the time. Why is a bit more complicated, but there are a number of good articles written on the deal Slive struck.

I'm amazed Indiana is as high as they are. I guess they have a large alumni base but they are a bad program. I've had more girlfriends than they have had bowl wins.

Lots. For example, SEC Network is not measured for viewership.

It was based on the number of people who had espn in their cable package dimwit.

People are paying even if they're not watching.

You're welcome.

Mississippi of course. You know the one you guys put billboards and signs all over claiming whose state it was. The same slogan you put on your advertising and jerseys with gold trim.

Let’s not bicker and be impressed by the fact MS is the least populated SEC state and our viewership is right there with Nebraska and Miami. And way above South Carolina and Kentucky (USCe surprised me to be that low)

To be fair that was referring to in state recruiting and the fact we had like a 3 game egg bowl win streak at the time they started it.

Mullen did great things for our program but he definitely poured gas on the rivalry in a negative way
