Wrong number buddy, want to try again?

Ruggs will be in his early 30’s before he gets out of the big house

He should never be released from jail.

The first bystanders who stopped and tried to pull the lady from the car need to sue the shite out of Ruggs too. They will have to live with that shite for the rest of their lives too.

I do believe it. That’s why I posted it.
Henry would be thrilled to know he has someone knighting for him on the SECr.

I’ve kept up with the dozen or so threads on this. When people shitpost, either flame them or ignore. It’s bad optics when you seem to care more about that than someone driving over 150 and killing somebody.

Your desperate need to project is very telling.

Here it is 2021, so we need something from over 300 year ago, how stupid is that?

Am I doing the virtue signaling thing correctly?

I would say it's the best time to say something, but I guess we just have different ways of looking at things.
I personally don't care about the "optics".
If someone wants to take what I say the wrong way and pretend that if I don't think Ruggs deserves everything he's about to get, and that I am somehow not caring about the victim, that's on them. Cancel me, whatever the frick it is people do today. I'm not being held back by the ignorance of others.

It isn't to say that Ruggs isn't deserving of retribution, but rather to say that it isn't how we do things here. Fortunately. Whether or not I personally think vengeance might be deserved.
If you want our justice system to be retributive, you need to be willing to accept all else that comes with living in a totalitarian dictatorship.

You are overthinking this. Let’s say the poor girl who burned alive in the car has an uncle. This uncle wants justice and doesn’t trust that our flawed legal system will prevail in such to an acceptable degree. So, he goes and kills Ruggs mother or pays someone to do it making Ruggs have to live knowing his actions caused collateral damage. That has nothings to do with a totalitarian dictatorship. This was an old mafia tactic. Let the person live who killed a loved one and suffer knowing they got their own relative killed in retribution.

Are you suggesting our countries rule of law should be based on the mafia?

Completely agree. Eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. I thought humanity figured this out thousands of years ago, but apparently some didn't get the memo. Surprising honestly.

No. I’m telling you someone getting retribution has nothing to do with a totalitarian dictatorship. That assertion is ridiculous. I’m also telling you that in this country rich athletes oftentimes don’t suffer from their actions by our judicial process. I’m also telling you Ruggs and his girlfriend are total pieces of shite that deserve every horrible thing coming their way.

There's also been a marked incidence of people misrepresenting (intentionally or not) the things other posters are saying in this thread. Stop reading the parts you want to see and read the whole thing, people.
