That's the first time I've watched a Franklin press conference. Unfortunately for Vanderbilt, they probably won't be able to keep him if he keeps having success.

Dooley strikes me as a guy who subconsciously knows his stay at UT is going to be brief so he is just enjoying it while it lasts. Guy just doesn't seem to have a care in the world.

My favorite part was today when CBS was asking him what his adjustments were going to be going into the second half. Dooley replied that they were just going to play like it was 0-0. All the while CBS has a graphic on the screen that says that dooley is 0-9 when trailing at half.

I was very impressed with Franklin. He had a great game plan for Alabama on how to attack them ect, just didnt have the horses to make the x's and o's work. I hope he keeps recruiting well they could make some noise in the east and help improve the conference from top to bottom.

I like James Franklin as well but he started the situation that occurred after the game. His approaching Grantham to complain about a UGA player when his players had been playing dirty as well was totally inappropriate. Then his later trying to bait CMR to discipline players and/or staff at UGA was flat out manipulative.

What was franklin pointing at in the first part of the video?

Franklin was cussing out UGA DB Shawn Williams, then Grantham stepped in to defend his player.

Franklin was talking trash too, and Grantham felt like some cheap shots were taken at his player at the end that could have resulted in an injury. Richt is like the Don and Grantham is the enforcer, so obviously Grantham would be the trigger man.

Todd Grantham is a world class tool if he had spent less time signaling players to fake injuries and more time coaching during the AU/UGA game then maybe he could have put together a halfway decent defensive gameplan.

Franklin seems like a great hire for Vandy. He is on local sports talk radio on a frequent basis and comes across as a passioniate guy who can get it done. I think he can get Vandy to a consistent 6-8 win team which is probably the best that they can hope for.

Franklin was pointing and yelling at Shawn Williams who, despite two personal fouls, had a great game. Grantham looked to be walking toward Franklin normally to exhange the usual pleasantries because Franklin couldn't find Richt btu when grantham saw and heard what Franklin was saying he lit into him. What's wrong with that? I'd love to hear why that's a bad thing.

We were ranked 6th in the country after facing Tyler Bray for 3 and a half quarters and Moo State who did pretty well against a stout Carolina defense. Overrated is not the term I'd use here, just outcoached. We had little to no film on Rodgers at QB, we had players resting easy because it was Vandy, it was just a poorly manage game and it doesn't help that Cornelius Washington was still suspended. But For Florida, Washignton and Alec Ogletree are back which should help

LINK? For defending his players from Franklin's tirade? Highly doubt it.

UGA is now as relevant as Vandy. Vandy obviously has much better coaches than UGA and their redneck defensive coordinator.

UGA players have ran over the pussy that is Mark Richt for years, hell Richt is probably afraid of the redneck that is Grantham.

Would be shocked if Grantham is suspended at all. He'll be dealt with internally, probably lose some $. Franklin, however, will get off scot-free due to an absence of an AD. Dude is a good coach (certainly outcoached us for the most part, we just got by one superior talent), hope he learned tonight that that HS bullshite of going after another's teams players after the game is just that: HS bullshite. Go to D-II if you want your opinion heard. I'm glad Grantham is the one that heard and saw Franklin do that. Richt would've said, "Shawn, What'd you do to make Coach Franklin so mad?! Must've been pretty awful! Shame on you!"
Grantham at least had the balls to call out an opposing coach for being a dick
