Technically, every offense is a high school offense.

It isn't the fact that the plays them self are gimmicky. It is who is running the play. Cam Newton running the play vs McElroy running the play makes the difference. The ability of Newton to run the way he did made another threat on each of those plays whereas for McElroy teams didn't really worry about him tucking and running it like Cam did.

What excuse do you have for when Chris Todd was running the AU offense in 09?

So McElwain was running wildcat before Malzahn was?

David Palmer was running it at Alabama in the early 90s.

The funniest part about these videos is that this guy continues to think he is making profound, original points.

its a pun from a song, and brodie had some shite-tier offensive lines when he was at bama, it was the first thing i thought of, and rtr316, hailsaban, gobama69, etc are all to cliche for my taste . Brodieneedsanoffensiveline is entirely too long, so i just condensed it. Sorry you read it that wayy, you are only ~ the 5th auburn fan to ask me about it, maybe i should put a pic of some half dressed broad as my avatar or sig so everyone will think im cool or some shite...or not.

You're so obsessed you made that video, and posted it here. Pathetic. Holy shite, all of your videos are about Alabama/Auburn comparison. Weirdo.

I seen Auburn run a sweep from under center last season, OMG! AUBURN COPYING BAMA!!!

This might be the dumbest thing ever posted here, seriously.

seems its philosophies have translated quite well to the college level, in my humble opinion.

Worked for the Miami Dolphins as well. Its only a gimmick if you can't stop it.

I'm not sure why you think this, but the wishbone did have its beginnings in the high school ranks of south Texas.

Oh, an offensive line....in that case, capitalization was your friend. Use it next time

Because pretty much every offense you can name is ran in the High School ranks. The I Formation, Spread, Pistol, Pro, etc.. It's just a watered down form in most cases. Malzahn's system is being spread all over now.
