This is the video of the hit that prompted inelishaitrust to start a thread saying AU hurts star players on purpose. How he described this vicious hit.

"Had a player fly in and spear locke with a helmet while he was on the ground. He then grabbed his facemask on the way up and turned his neck."

"The announcers just ignored it, too.
It was absolutely disgusting to be honest.
I wanted to pretend it didn't happen."

Wigpigsooie's description of the play

"Yea, i watched the game it was definitely dirty. The announcers said he had neck trouble at halftime"

Ummm, the play in question happened after halftime. He's so butthurt over AU i guess he couldnt pass up on the chance to hate on AU.

Will someone please point out in the vid where Locke was speared and had his facemask twisted

LOLOLOL @ "the spear"

If anything, he had more contact with the Auburn dude than Locke.

This accusation really got under your skin, didn't it! You've spent the better part of your day looking for a video to prove that bad poster wrong.

If that is the play they are talking about, it was not dirty.

It was nice to see that the SEC officials have finally noticed all the late hitting from Auburn this season..

Was it 5 or so of those penalties yesterday?

2, both were on Etheridge. If you watch the replay you can clearly tell that neither of them were cheap.

the two of those on Etheridge were bullcrap.

You guys are ridiculous with the claims of the dirtiness of Auburn's football team. I'm gonna go to ITAT and get some Operation Red Doggers to dig up dirt on yalls squads.

Hey bamascott. frick off. I am sure that youtube search took half a day. Yeah, it got under my skin and a lot of others I am sure. They were fabrications by a couple of different posters. would have bothered you too but don't let the hypocrisy stop you. Yes, monticello, this absolutely the play.

I was waiting for someone to post this. I couldn't believe someone called it dirty.

Also, Etheridge hit players while THEY WERE STILL INBOUNDS twice for two late hits.

And Nick Fairley's roughing the passer penalty was ridiculous. It might have been the woosiest roughing the passer call I have ever seen. He literally hit him less than a half second after he released the ball, and there was nothing dirty about the hit.

A rational, well thought out post, considering the source...and excepting the obligatory, AU-educated "frick off."

I'd think Auburn fans would be used to it by now, honestly. This isn't anything new, by any stretch of the imagination.

Oh the OUTRAGE!!!!!!! I am sending a email to Slive! Auburn is so dirty! He clearly twisted his neck and could have killed him!

Pathetic. Since you posted the thread past midnight I hope it was just a case of you being too drunk to know what the frick you were typing when you started that stupid arse thread. Kinda like waking up to a grenade huh?

You would think Etheridge wouldnt act like dick with his hands in his air when a man is down since he is fully recovered from his terrible neck injury. He is lucky to be walking.
