I don't think Arkansas wants a bowled-in design.

No Aggie has ever told another guy, " that's too big". Easy to see where you are coming from, I suppose...

They had looked into it a couple years ago and even released renderings but decided against it.

I think the whole Petrino fiasco and the way it set the program back put a halt to that, but I could be wrong. I went when LSU played there in 2012 and I don't think there was anyone in the closed endzone, it was really dead.

That being said it is the perfect size for them and looks nice, same can be said for Ole Miss and State

Link to where Arkansas decided against it? Because according to Google Image search, Arky was "moving forward" as of January 25, 2016.

The band will be in a weird spot. Whole NEZ will be students, which is nice. I'm still wondering whose idea it was to put that small section of visiting fans in the southwest curve of the stadium.

It's a great spot for the band as it's facing the home side and the student section, as well as separating away fans from the students.

It's also sitting on the same side as the visiting band which could turn out with an awkward sound when both are playing.

I just hope you like it when other schools start doing the same to your fans.

most schools already do this...especially LSU. you guys put visitors in a section at the bottom corner of one endzone, and in that nosebleed upper deck, where if one trips and falls then the field is bound to catch them.

For years LSU had some of the most generous visitor's seating to be found in any stadium. Only after years of complaints from Tiger fans about how they were scattered to the winds at away games did the policy change.

Nobody should be complaining about seating at Vaught Hemingway. I don't think there is a bad seat in there.

So it's really generous of you to spread visitors out in three separate sections of the stadium? That's your angle? Really?

Are they bad seats though?

I swear in 2009 when Tennessee came to Oxford they filled up half the damn stadium. It was nuts.
