It's quite clear that LSU and Vandy have separated themselves from the pack in this conference and have been that way all year

phase one is pretty well done. forget the sec tournament; phase two is your regional with the phase three and maybe phase four in omaha. the shittiest thing ever would be to dominate the regular season and fall on your face in the post season. good luck and hope both you and lsu see each other in omaha.

Yes, let us hope the SEC is well represented in the CWS. North Carolina and NC State are real threats also.

no doubt NC State is playing some serious ball right now. I really feel UNC is slightly overrated.

Their SEC schedule was laughable.
Not really.
Not counting this weekend and taking out opponents' records against Vanderbilt, their combined record is 100-117 or .461 win%.
Take out opponents' records against LSU, and their combined record is 109-108 or .502 win%.
There is a difference but it certainly isn't 'laughable'. LSU opponents only won nine more games. I think Vandy's OOC schedule more than makes up for that.

Because they are playing everyone in the East. Which is crap for the most part. Don't let this construe my belief that Vandy is a damn good team, though. I just don't think they have 2 SEC losses if they are in the West.

You want to enumerate how many more good SEC teams you played than us, other than Arkansas? Or maybe you would like to explain losing to USCe at home?

So I guess USCe is terrible and we should be embarrassed

Mississippi State too...

USC was their only tough road series, and they got to skip a game there.

I'm not claiming they'd be a .500 team in the west, but I think they'd have a few more losses like LSU. That's all.

Did you not see who I quoted? And I am not bashing LSU. Nola and your hitters are very lethal and strong contenders to win the CWS. But I do not understand some LSU fans obsession with our record and how we earned it.

You still replied to the other guy, though.

Dude, we swept Mississippi State and we did not play LSU because you did not play the record setting Commodores.

My bad, I keep thinking we play 3 cross-division teams. And stop replying to yourself...

To not recognize Vandy as the best team in the country at this point is just foolish.LSU has a championship caliber team when hitting on all cylinders but have had some uncharacteristic miscues at crucial points in some games.

Are we not? If you are seriously upset that someone thinks Vandy might have a few more losses if they played in the West, then just wow.
