Only thing that would worry me as a Vandy fan is they've been on such a long run. Once your pretty locked in on a Top 8 seed I'd rather lose a few games and have a few close ones just to keep focused. It may not make a difference jmo.

You realize we are talking about Vandy's SEC schedule, correct?

What does that matter?

Their SOS is 20 spots higher, so it doesn't matter.

LSU plays in the tougher division, but plays the pussiest OOC in the conference.

Vandy plays in the East, but plays a tough arse OOC.

Evens out to the tune of Vandy SOS: 21 LSU: 38.

What does Vandy's OOC schedule have to do with the western division teams they don't play?

Unless it starts affecting LSUs post season I don't see much of a shift in our OOC scheduling. We consistently lead the country in home attendance. Teams want to play at The Box. There is no incentive for LSU to travel OOC like most teams.

That isn't the discussion is it?

The discussion is that they'd have a few more losses on the year if they played in the West.

They played a tougher schedule and have fewer losses, so that doesn't hold much water.

Not that hard to understand.

Their schedule isn't overwhelmingly impressive. They've played Oregon.. that's about it.

If they played LSU and Arkansas instead of a combo of Tennessee/Georgia/Missouri they'd have more SEC losses.

Oregon is a national seed, and they played in Oregon.

Belmont is 35-15 and a 3 seed, UCA is 35-13 and a 2 seed in the NCAAT.

LSU didn't leave their own state or play a single ranked team.

Earlier in the year teams are more susceptible to upset loss against some decent teams than later on in the year which makes it more impressive.

And they'd have the toughest schedule in the nation why LSU sets hovering around 40. Fair is fair though!

Who said you shouldn't? Just don't bitch about Vandy having a few more losses if they were in the West when their schedule is nearly 20 spots higher than LSU's.

I didnt say 1 word about Vand's schedule, try and realize who you are talking to before spewing nonsense.

Just because your AD is a pussy doesn't mean it's okay to rag on Vandy who actually plays teams in the OOC.

You mean a genius for running the most profitable baseball program in college...and still having a much higher SOS than Arkansas in the process this year. Maybe we should have played less than half as many OOC games against teams with winning records like you did compared to us

LSU SOS 38
Ark SOS 63

So what does that make Arkansas OOC? Beyond pussified?

And even Arkansas played road games and against ranked teams.

Take it up with your AD, not me.

Yes, which is why their SOS is quite a bit higher than LSU's.

Props to Vandy for playing good teams in the OOC and going on the road as well.

I guess since you can't attack LSU's SOS using your own, you have to live through Vanderbilt.

LSU OOC >>>>>> Arky OOC

Herp derp.

You're just butthurt they're SEC champs and you're not, so you tried mentioning schedules except your forgot you have the pussiest AD in the country.

Yet your OOC still was way easier and a complete joke.

LSU SOS 38
Ark SOS 63

Vandy 21
LSU 38

embarrassing

Not only do they win the SEC over LSU, they played a tougher schedule to go with it.

Damn, what a team huh?

Teams Arkansas has played OOC series with RPI in parentheses.

Western Illinois (239)
New Orleans (274) – 2 games
Evansville (186)
Arizona St. (19) – 2 games
San Diego St. (100)
Alabama A&M (293) – 2 games
Mississippi Vallesy St. (298 out of 298) – 2 games
New Mexico (56) – 2 games

But, hey, they played in Arizona for one weekend, therefore there schedule IZ TEH BEST EVARZ!!!

Why are you living through Vanderbilt, is it because you wanted a team with a division title?

LSU has that, too, fwiw.
