Do they teach hyperbole and sarcasm at UGA and other SEC schools, because most of you can't spot it when you read it...

The Bama really came out of McElroy on the call. He called the Tennessee player dumb like 4 times. Nothing wrong with that block.

Brings me great joy that little queer got to sit there and enjoy 4hrs of domination.

Illegal blindside block? UT receiver was right in front of him. I guess you can be blindsided by not paying attention and not being aware of your surroundings.

They called one on the Alabama running back too which I thought was kind of iffy.

Back when football was a contact sport, there was no better feeling than catching some dude looking the other way and decleating him.

Then again, there was no worse feeling than being caught looking the other way.

Agreed. Neither of those should have been penalties IMO. Good football blocks. And both of the guys that got rocked were back in the game.

The likes of Eric Berry would have been in trouble in this current generation of rules.

No it wasn't targeting and they don't sit out the next game anymore. At least try to learn the rules.

Should be a legal block, gotta keep your head on a swivel.

Your defender pretty much drew attention to himself. He should have just run off like nothing happened.

You go standing in the middle of a bunch of cops with your hands up in the air, they gonna start looking around for what you did.

But that's such a weak call, I hate that football has become this way.

And it kept SC out of the playoffs.

That wasn't even a particularly vicious crack-back block. Sucks they are "cracking" down on those blind-side hits. Having been on the both the giving and receiving side of those in HS, it really makes you have your head on a swivel next time.

Definitely blindside in today’s rules. They want players coming in to put their hands up and just get in their way in that situation. You can tell it’s coached that way nowadays. I can’t deny see that type of hit is entertaining. And was good of him not leading with the helmet. But that will called every time now.

That's when it's time to pick another sport.
