DD is a punk & he's over his head as an SEC Head Coach. Ck. his record at La Tech. He beat ONE team with a winning record as a Head Coach. How in the hell is he an SEC Head Coach?

Given the utter apocalypse he inherited at UT, I'd say even the Tennessee fan expectations have to be pretty lenient for his first year.

I think the Vols are 4-5 years from competing for the SECE again. 5 wins this year will be good. 6 wins next year will be okay. After that, I would expect to see 8-9 wins in 2012 and 2013.

I think if you look at the teams that played in Athens Saturday, UT only had one starter that could have started for Georgia (Janzen Jackson). That would be true for Fla, Ala, USC, and LSU as well. We have a long way to go.

Fulmer had two bad recruiting classes in his last four years. On top of that, 39 players have quit or been kicked off the team since Fulmer was fired. You can basically write off four entire recruiting classes in those numbers. Almost like getting the death penalty.

Tauren Poole>>>Caleb King and Washaun Ealey. An argument could be made that Justin Hunter is better than UGA's receivers besides AJ Green as well.

Absolutely no way it should take 5 more years to start competing for the SEC east again. If it takes that long, chances are Dooley isn't the right guy for the job.

#1 His father
#2 He is a lawyer and has been an AD and can help UT navigate potential troubles left by Mr One Year Wonder

If he only wins 6 in 2012, he's still going to be fired.
