I'm to understand some Hee Haw f**** are going to the Toilet Seat for the Tennessee game...I pray for your safety, too!
Columbus is a sanctuary sh!thole, and the city just received another 8+ million to harbor criminals. NEVER go into Franklin County unless you are carrying, for real.
They just had a soccer player, Nathan Demian, gunned down in a DRIVE-BY shooting just east of their campus. Their campus is perhaps the trashiest in the country, and the columbus PD & their campus PD are clueless about all the crime...don't count on them for safety, count on yourself!
Also, be careful in their Toilet Seat stadium. It has a crumbling infrastructure, substandard electric, various safety hazards & code violations (get swept under the rug by WalNut fan inspectors), and don't drink the water, because it gets piped in from the Olengrungy sh!t crick and "filtered" for consumption...yeh, right! That Crick contains RAW SEWAGE!

One legit thing I’d also recommend is if you see an empty case of beer on the sidewalk especially if youre in the student ghetto for some reason and any Ohio State fan tells you to kick it.
DO NOT KICK THE BOX. It likely has a cinder block in it.

I've been to a number of games there dating back to Woody, Cooper and Tressel. I remember the pre-erector set Shoe before they enclosed it ... when the big Dave/Wendy's billboard was still up.
Both of my ex-wives sisters are married to suckeye grad lawyers. Both were living in Columbus for years. You're not lying.
It's gotten progressively worse since.
It was worth mentioning for UT fans making the trek up there to throw a beatin' on the tampon red and gray suckeyes.

I was in Columbus for a conference back in May and had zero issues. That being said, I was around the convention center for the week and didn't venture too far beyond that. Every large city has their 5hithole areas.

Nawh, I've had several ranters tell me I'm wrong for saying the frickeyes have the worst fans in CFB. The Vols will be just fine.

Lived there. My advice is at check ask for a room without a view. Lots of tailgating and that is your best option. Evening before I recommend any of Cameron Mitchell's restaurants or Hyde Park Steak House. They have a brewery district and German Village for local fair but it seems the restaurants change often. Tommy's pizza is a fun cheap dinner.
Unless there is a cold front, doubt the weather will be a ton different from Knoxville and frankly OSU struggled in the cold against Michigan....

I went once back in 2008 when Troy played them. I rank it as the worst unfriendly environment and I've been to Death Valley at night twice. They act like they are doing you a favor by playing you. We lost 28-10 and they were mad they didn't crush us.
When Troy won at LSU, I was worried about the walk outside the stadium, but it wasn't bad like OSU. OSU felt like I was going to have to fight.
Just for reference, the best visiting venue is by far Nebraska. When we beat them in 2018, their fans stood up and cheered us. They were giving our players high fives as they walked off the field.
Nebraska is pure class and Ohio State is pure trash.

Columbus is cool. Plenty of places to get good food and drink. A lot of it is walkable. OSU fans are awful…but so are the rest of us.
