Well we jumped from about 70 something in recruiting rankings to top 30. Meanwhile Mizzou is...hang on gotta keep scrolling...50 something!

Everyone keeps saying this guy is a member of Mensa, but I'd like to see some proof because I don't buy it.

AND if we even assumed this fantasy land BS was true...it certainly doesn't make you look any better. I mean, frick, lose your top coaching target because you can't beat Citadel? Really? Your AD doesn't have enough acumen to hold onto a done deal because his shite team (that everyone already knew was shite) lost to a shite school.

lulz You're the one chest puffing ... and you were the one stalking our coaching search thread a half dozen times a day rather than worrying about your own shite show in CoMo. Wait ... did I just make a rhyme? "shite Show in CoMo." Damn! That's catch phrase worthy ... I gotta remember to trademark or copyright that.
Anyways, our coaching search thread was the most up to date accurate coaching search thread on the interwebs while it was going-on ... and you were a daily subscriber. Hell, Chicken and Ice could have made money off of you because you definitely would have subscribed.
And I've said many times that Herman actually did us a favor because our BoTs held an early meeting that was not scheduled until this spring just to get the final upgrade funding approved which was one of Herman's stipulations. So by having the final upgrades already approved it really helped with recruiting this year. Plus, honestly, we got the right guy - most of us are convinced of that. Herman would have never been able to pull-off assembling this staff or this recruiting class ... as I stated earlier, Herman totally failed recruiting at Houston this year.
But anyways Heyzooce ... we get it, we do. Mizzou tanked and is sinking, while SCAR was flexible enough to make a good hire and recover even in the face of various roadbumps ... and reality has set in for you missourites.
Still yet, you're Dustin Johnson level douche now. Well, not that low ... but you're just a bug's arse above him - you're down there with the other things that crawl in the slime.

What happened on our campus last fall sealed our fate in recruiting this year. Still, we will beat that arse for the 3rd straight year and continue to be the more successful program overall.

He would kill it there ... the guy can coach offense. He would do well at FSU, LSU or Texas in all probability. He'll probably end-up at one of those places eventually ... if not A&M.
Herman backing out of the SCAR job was a smart business move. I would have done the same thing given Herman's circumstances at the time and how much attention he was getting and, let's not forget, he parlayed it into a massive pay raise at Houston just to hold him over 'till the inevitable.
In the meantime SCAR really needed someone with a lot of enthusiasm and fire and brimstone who could assemble a strong staff familiar with this region of the country ... one that could recruit.
All rhetoric aside, it's worked-out pretty well for everyone involved so far, it really has. Herman and his family benefited. mUSChamp and his family has benefited. Gamecock Nation will benefit in the long run I truly believe.
The losers were/are Fuentes who was at Memphis State but now resides at Va Tech. The whole process exposed some things about him that he probably wishes had been left alone ... but he's going to get his shot at Va Tech and he is going to have his work cut out for him.
Then there is Rich Rodriguez ... he was exposed as a liar. We always knew he was, but both his AD and he looked bad after their statements and subsequent retractions and denials.
Kirby Smart and UGA are happy ... so good for them. It's a natural fit, the two of them, for obvious reasons. They made their move and got their man. The only program that could have beaten-out UGA for Smart would have been Bama.
And finally, if Boom gets the job done, Ray Tanner is going to come out of this smelling like a rose. It'll be short lived though if Chad Holbrook falters with the baseball program.
Right now there is a lot of enthusiasm for mUSChamp and his staff. He's got his honeymoon period to look forward to and if he gets us bowling this coming post season everyone will be happy ... if he somehow manages to win 8 games in his first season our fanbase will go nuts.

I rarely make "predictions" but this one is so obvious that it hardly takes clairvoyance: Boom will fail miserably at SC. Worse than a pregnant pole vaulter.
