Drive to Savannah, you can walk just about anywhere with alcohol. Every bar and restaurant will give you a cup on the way out.

IMHO, all the money being spent to upgrade stadium and surrounding ugly warehouse area is such a waste when you consider we lost a golden opportunity years ago to relocate it on campus like most SEC stadiums. It's too late now but boy what a shame, lol.
People knocking our off campus stadium are missing the boat. There is huge atmosphere value with current location. There is probably not another stadium that 95% of the people can tailgate within a half a mile from stadium. Home and away fans. Go to Auburn or UGA and you will park more than a mile from stadium and tailgate in a small parking lot or yard with maybe 3 or 4 other groups. The hospitality at Carolina is way better because of density of tailgating.
Our Greek housing is 1.5 miles from stadium. That's not too much further than other schools.
Give it 10 more years and it will be basically on campus.
Now if we were like NC State, it would be a better argument.
re: Losing weight and getting off the CPAP!

I lost 60lbs and just quit using CPAP. I don't feel any different. Anybody know a way to self diagnose. I wear a Whoop and it typically says 1-2 wake events per hour but I don't know about the accuracy.

Why not play the game and just mop the floor. She has the team to score 150. That would be far more embarrassing to BYU than pulling out of a game. Probably bring more attention to her cause.
re: Savannah and Hilton Head recommendations ...
Posted by wt9 on 7/4/22 at 3:34 pm
Hilton head - Hudson's, pretty solid Seafood
Savanah- everything previously listed is pretty good.
Add 2 burger joints. B&D burgers historic area location. Nothing great, but good atmosphere for boys. Right at city market.
Ben's neighborhood grill on Southside. On par with green truck. Great beer selection.
Add Starland yards - food truck, bar, pizza. Great for families, atmosphere is key here.

re: Anyone here do One Meal A Day Fasting?
Posted by wt9 on 7/1/22 at 8:07 pm
I do. Eat everyday from about 6pm to 8pm. Sometimes a snack around 10pm, if still hungry. I drink 4-5 sugar free, caffeinated soft drinks during the day.
I have lost 60 pounds over the last year but I have stalled for the last 3 months. 310 to 250. 6'5".
I'm open to criticism or tips.

re: Fellow Georgia baws, will you be voting for Kemp or Perdue?
Posted by wt9 on 5/11/22 at 6:13 pm
Yep, Perdue or Abrams. You are a moron if you vote for Kemp. He is controlled.
I would rather Abrams get zero done than Kemp getting 90% but screwing us on 10%

re: Trees and neighbors

Insurance companies will pretty much go with act of god every time and most arborists will say it's savable
I sent a letter to my neighbors about a tree. Couple of years later, I big limb totaled my truck. Their insurance said act of god. My insurance said act of god and wrote me a check less $500 deductible. Wrote another letter.
Couple of years after that, limb fell on another car. Their insurance said act of God, my insurance said act of God and gave me a list of authorized repair shops. My neighbor paid deductible and cut tree down.
3ft of the center had rotted out. Arborist was trying to save it for years.

Looks like vaccine shedding is no longer a myth. Might be something to the myth that certain vaccine lots had more adverse reactions than others.
Just one giant science and social experiment. Evil people.

I think Muschamp is a hell of a defensive mind at the collegiate level.
This is a myth.
Look at all his powerhouse defenses, everytime the defensive mind was the head coach. He basically got Mack Brown fired.
Another myth is great recruiter, but that's for another time.
He is good where he is at, Kirby will carry him.

Only thing good out of Wilmington area is it's 15 minutes to Phillies, 1 hours to Orioles, 2 hours to nationals, 3.5 hours to Mets/Yankees, and 5.5 hours to Fenway.

This is funny. Saw a women raising hell because the legs were "all broke up" and that she wasn't paying $26 for them. Asked for manager and said they should be $20. Worker left to get manager, I said, ma'am the legs are only $17.
Manager comes back and woman says the legs are "all broke up" and should be $15.
In her defense, the legs were "all broke up", but at 4pm Christmas Eve you can't be too picky, especially when they are free.

re: COVID antibody results - what do they mean?
Posted by wt9 on 12/20/21 at 7:05 pm
Good luck figuring it out. I got a 120 u/ml. None of my doctors would touch the subject.
If you say you are vaccinated, it's a good number and shows the vaccine is working. If you say you are not vaccinated, the test is not a good indication of protection and that you should get one.
I really wish this test was used more often. Why take vaccine or booster if this number is good. Concentrate of people that dont have any antibodies.

re: President* Biden: Third, we’re going to end the days where drug companies could increase..
Posted by wt9 on 12/6/21 at 6:47 pm
This is such a crock. Let's start with the billions they are making off US Govt during a pandemic.
The govt gave them an order for a billion or so vaccines and gave them liability protection. At the very least it should have been a pass through cost with a very small markup percentage. Like 1% or so.

re: Stacey Abrams is running for governor again (GA)

It's pretty easy. Run somebody better than Kemp. Just give us somebody that will fight.
Here is Kemp's response to Biden's mandate.
Here is McMaster's response.
Which one you want in the foxhole with you.
Here is Kemp's response to Biden's mandate.
quote:
“We will continue our legal efforts and are confident this unlawful, unconstitutional order will be struck down,” Kemp tweeted.
Here is McMaster's response.
quote:
“They have declared war against capitalism, thumbed their noses at the Constitution and empowered our enemies abroad. Rest assured, we will fight them to the gates of hell to protect the liberty and livelihood of every South Carolinian.”

Kemp ain't perfect, but he's been really good with COVID
How?????
He opened up first. Great, but that's it.
He has been quiet since. How about protecting freedoms from mandates, Nothing.
He told a group of healthcare workers to get a different job if they didn't want to get vaccinated.
If you want somebody other than Abrams, you better run somebody better than Kemp. Yes, I also work, own land, and run a business in Georgia.
