I remember sometime in the late 90's it became briefly fashionable amongst a certain crowd to wear ballcaps from schools like South Carolina (a large "COCKS" with a small "South Carolina" beneath) or Morehead State (self-explanatory). Oregon State was probably one too.

I had one of the very last shirts that just said Cocks on it, with no reference to the school, no logo, nothing. I had to leave it behind when I moved out of state.

Will say if not for our mascot, many people out of the state/SEC border wouldn't know who we are.

Embarrassed? Went to a game there several years ago and it seemed every student there had their frat or sorority logo on a shirt that said "You can't Beat our Cocks"
