USC should feel pretty confident.

You sir are a dumbass.

aTm is 2-2 against the East since joining, and one of those victories is at home against Vandy and the other over 5-7 Mizzou

Looking forward to a great game and excited to play the Aggies for the 1st time (unfortunately it was a year too late).
Williams-Brice will be nuts and I think being at home wins it for us. Would not be confident at all if the game were in CS.

It'll be a tough test for our defense, especially Dline, but the backups last year got enough PT to be effective. LB corp is stacked and should be improved from last year.

Offense should be very good as we return 4/5 Oline and Mike Davis plus all but one WR. Shaw graduated of course but Thompson is capable to step in and get the W, just as he did many times when Shaw was injured the past 3 years.

South Carolina has started the season on Thursday nights 8 times since 2005 and are 8-0 in those games.

Spurrier has lost only one opening season game. And that was to South Carolina while he was at Duke.

Spurrier's first ever game against A&M.

I think our defense will give up some points but ultimately our offense will just keep them off the field too often to keep it seriously close. A 34-24 score wouldn't surprise me.

Coming to a place that hasn't witnessed a loss since mid-2011. Like I said, home team wins this matchup. I'd say the same if it was in CS. I think that's how it will go most years now that we are permanent opponents.

Dont feel so good about this game. I'm not really worried about QB production since Sumlin has proven to be able to develop QBs in his career. Its the defense. This game will probably set the tone of our defense for the rest of the season and the Cocks breaking us in for 2014 (pun totally intended) may spell disaster the entire season. We still got summer camp, so hopefully by then our d-line can get bigger and the new DB coach can band-aid our secondary.

The the Cocks win but I also think there will be lots of points scored by both teams. SC Defense will be tested and our defense will be pushed beyond its limit against Davis.

Hate that it's a refrain from last year.

While USCe should be the clear favorite, I wouldn't count out A&M of any game with the offensive firepower we return.

Sure we are losing 3 first round guys on our O, but the OL is expected to stay on par as the last few years with Ced sliding over the LT (just like Jake did last year).

Mike is gone, but RSJ is healthy (#1 WR in the country 2 years ago, but blew his knee out after the first half of game one where he had 3 catches for 84 yards and a TD), Speedy is here (#1 WR last year), and that's just the tip of the iceberg for our WR talent. Without

Johnny's obvious the crazy play making is gone, but one of the young QBs will run the O more like Sumlin intended. More run game, more short passes, and taking what the D gives and not buying time so Mike can get open for a 30 yard gain.

On top of all that the D can't be worse, can it?

They will probably have a tough time dealing with our o line in the run game. Across the front line we go 348, 318, 315, 314 and 334. Against HUNH offenses, we do a good job of slowing the game down when our offense is on the field. Every year we hold Clemson far below their averages in points and plays per game. If we are able to run the ball, TAMU will be done by the end of the third quarter.
