these players were getting cost of living stipends on top of their scholarships that already cover everything from food, to rent, to books, maybe they could afford a $300 a month car
Umm no one can play NCAA football anymore because these a holes complain they don't have enough money to eat on the weekends. Yet they are standing in front of cars, flashing cash.
I know this isn't just a bama thing, but y'all don't even try to hide it.
Oh, and if you qualify, some players are given assistance on top of the scholarships. They just pocket that money since room and board is already being paid for.

My post was 100% sarcasm. The players are, in fact, given a cost of living stipend worth several thousand dollars a semester on top of their scholarships and grant money.

There are literally dozens of car dealerships between Tuscaloosa and Bimingham alone that specialize in "no credit, no problem" and "buy here, pay here" loans. And most of those cars retail used for less than $20K. That's a payment of about $300.
first time I wasn't paying cash for a vehicle, it was damn near impossible to even get a loan for $10k when I had zero credit.
I think these things happen every where. Just some do it more than others. I think they should get something.

Or maybe, just maybe, these kids have parents.

Malachi Dupre comes from a very wealthy family bud...

That's because you weren't shopping at Tucker Motors in the hood.

Allow me to point out at least one thing. I work at Dadeville High School. Both Anfernee and Shawn Jennings graduated from here.
Their mother is a special education teacher and their family is not poor. The black Charger is actually their mother's car, not theirs.

Clowney probably didn't like Saban's recruiting because he's a lazy frick.

No way - they are black - they clearly can only afford a 1997 Ford Focus.
Rashaan Evans' mom has a PHD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Auburn. No clue how he could afford a decent car. Probably stole it.

That is a pretty solid piece of work

Maybe, but then they leave school early to make money for their families because they have none.
So idk. I'm sure LSU cheats, but we also finish 2nd to a lot of schools for certain prospects. So it just tells me other schools must be doing it too, or doing it better.
My mom taught special ed. She couldn't afford to buy me a car. My first car was a 94 jeep wrangler I paid $2k cash for. And it needed some work.

Well off? That's a 60k car on the low end
Looks like Travin Dural, DJ Chark, and Jamal Adams all have well off families too. Again, this is your prototype glass houses parable

How would a bandwagon bitch-made Clemson fan know this?

Giving things to the kids themselves is much more reputable than a coach/ family friend steering the kid to a school that is not their choice. Giving a coach an analyst gig is as scummy as it gets(Michigan).
The NCAA is absolutely not a non-profit organization despite tax exemptions saying otherwise. The coaches of these major programs have benefited much more than the kids ever will.
