A few observations, Bear Bryant and most old timers would shake their head at some of the coaching decisions and at a few of the players mental lapses.
1.) 2:30 to go, LSU first down on the 16, RB goes off tackle with a huge hole, he could have gotten 7 or 8 yards easily, he tries to go around a guy instead of barreling into him for that 7 to 8 yards, and he gets 2 yards. If they get the 8, then a first down inside the 5 they would score a TD 90% of the time and RUN CLOCK in so doing.
2.) With like 6 minutes let, LSU has the ball on 2nd 15 deep in their own territory, they get like 14 and "RUN TO THE Line to HURRY UP" which makes no sense, you need one yard, get a proper play called, get everyone organized , hell bring in THE BEEF, don't hurry up and when its that important.
Bad coaching, bad player decisions, etc. will kill you every time. I just can't figure out these MODERN Coaches who don't use the clock wiser and the player has to get that 7 or 8, the glory cut back TD thinking got him 2 yards instead.
