Sounds about right---in a text the night before,
expressed his "limitless love" for his players and
promised to share much more in a 7 a.m. meeting----
showed up, mumbled about something for less
than two minutes and hit the money trail to
Baton Rouge.

Strong words From USA Today.

For those who say you can’t blame Kelly for accepting a contract from LSU that is expected to be well north of $10 million per year, that’s bollocks. There is nobody to blame but Kelly for a classless, gutless exit before the kids he recruited to Notre Dame even know whether they’ll have the privilege of playing for a national championship.

By making this move now, Kelly should be a pariah in his profession, never thought of the same way again. He doesn’t care at all about those players, and whatever respect he had earned for his stewardship of the Notre Dame program over the last dozen years has been flushed down the toilet. He should forever be known as little more than a snake and a mercenary.

Spot on assessment.

No surprise. Look at the scumbag LSU hired for their last coach. Kelly's sorry arse will fit right in.

Brian Kelly is a good man and coached the hell out of undermanned Notre Dame teams to get them to the level of success they have obtained, he wants to win a national championship and LSU is the best opportunity he has had and I think LSU hit it out of the park with this hire

You are really not in any position to act high and mighty about who is a "good guy", Daniel.

So, did he get that internship? Story left a hell of a cliff hanger.

Honestly? I can't think of a single person that would give up that kind of money. I'm surprised they didn't wait to announce it, but why hate on the guy for making the most of his opportunities?

They wrote the same stuff about Saban when he left Miami.

Now they just call him GOAT.
