I could only imagine the mood in south Louisiana if this happened and Bama's lone loss was to LSU.

Would there be celebration for finally beating Lord Saban and the evil empire or infighting for whose head should roll for two losses to underdogs to cost us the west?

I am going to go with the latter.

We're not going 5-7.

We lost very little and have a more favorable schedule than last year when we wen't 7-5.

I thought no we do better than that ...

Georgia would not go 6-2 in conference and lose to Tech and Notre Dame, its moronic to even think that. 8-4 is definitely possible though, but with a 6-2 conference record, 9-3 is more likely

This lays the groundwork for every team possibly being bowl eligible though.

Actually Coach Odom is using this to his advantage and implementing the "Safe Space" defense. The Defensive Coaching staff is informing their players that the white QB is enforcing his white privilege to hog the ball and he must be stopped at all coast. The only time the white devil QB passes or hands off the ball to a black player is too make them do all the work. Since all of that honky QB's success comes off the backs of Afro-American Peoples of Color, the Mizzou players must hug the black player holding the ball and lay them on the ground where they can cradle them. The white defensive players must apologize for all of the glory the evil white QB stole from the black players.

Is this the year that aggy fires their only black head football coach, who never had a losing record, in order to hire a white alum to succeed him?

Bad joo joo there, fellers.

IB4 retard SEC fan chimes in with "Charlie Strong," who never had a WINNING record while with the Horns.

8-4 is not going to win the East. That's just plain stupid.

Order of finish could be right though. I'd switch Florida and Georgia though.

You are probably correct. But I imagine Auburn fans and Tennessee fans both would not be happy one bit with that type of record.

The hot seat list going into 2018 would cover about half the league.

*Gus would still be on the hot seat after 8-4 (4-4)
*Butch would still be on the hot seat after 8-4 (4-4)
*McElwain would probably be on the hot seat with an 8-4 record and no division title.
*Stoops would probably go back on the hot seat with a 5-7 record.
*Bielema would probably finally be on the hot seat with another 7-5 record.
*Even Mullen would probably start to feel his seat get hot after a 6-6 (2-6) finish.
