I'm assuming you're rotflyao'ing because I'm directly comparing Texas A&M to Ohio State?
Historically they're different programs, but for the two periods in question the team talent composite is almost identical.
That overall composite rating represents a weighted gaussian distribution ranking of every player across both teams.
Go back and re-read the subject of this OP again.

There is no comparison between Ohio State and Texas A&M. They were all hype while our players have proven themselves by playing in a CFP game. Alabama and Georgia are the only comparable programs in the SEC.

They played hard and lost to the better team.

Aggie recruiting classes have been overrated and hyped up since the days of the SWC and so nothing new under the sun with them.
Ohio State has historically had and still has superior players and the results don't lie. If the Aggies were as good as people say they are then they would show results similar to a typical blue blood.

BS, if Georgia had to play Missouri in a meaningless bowl game then half the Georgia team would not even bother to show up.
No one at Ohio State cared about the game
I would suggest you review the Orange Bowl and look at the roster UGA brought to Miami and the number of players who were contributors during the season who were dressed for that meaningless game. Its an excuse. It speaks volumes about the culture in the program. UGA did the exact same thing in 2018(?) and fricked around and lost to Texas in the Sugar Bowl. UGA has only played in 3 meaningless Bowls since, last year included, and in all 3 had almost the entire roster available for the bowl game. There is going to be some players who choose not to play on any team but when a bunch decide not to play and those who do play go through the motions and aren't really interested it speaks volumes about the culture...it is not one of a champion.

Let me translate for those unfamiliar with UM - “I hate Ryan and am fixing to ROAST him publicly when they lose with a god roster.”
Dude is lying, he has had way more talent than this.

That's pretty scary coming from a guy that Coached 3 National Champions and spent most of his career in the SEC & Big Ten.
Too bad their head coach is Ryan Day.

So Urban Meyer hired Ryan Day & recommended that Ryan Day be his successor as HBC at Ohio State, but secretly hates Ryan Day ?
That makes absolutely no sense, but Cool Story Bro

You hate anyone who can think for themselves, unlike the MAGA group on the political board. Let's keep the discussion on how great Ohio State will be,
I'm totally with you there...... You have critical thinking skills.

Why do you post on this site, specifically the SEC forum anyway? Big 10 forums must be as boring as that conference.
Why is OSU being discussed here?

Urban is trying to draw attention to OSU, when EVERYONE is focused on the new SEC!!!
It is a down year for the Big 10, also their most newbies are all down this year allowing Oregon to look like the class of the Big 10.
Michigan lost their HC and their team of 5th year seniors, USC lost their only good player the QB, UCLA oils down, Washingtonlost their HC and QB, All the rest of the Big doesn’t matter letting OSU battle Oregon for attention…..
