Technically yeah, but the rumor was it was academics related. I think with the delay of the game, the game wouldn't have taken place until after the end of the first semester and he wouldn't have been eligible.
Not sure if that's been confirmed, but I believe that was the case.

As a Browns fan I would love either Chase or Marshall somehow to fall to Cleveland ...i like both better than Smith and Waddle

Agree ...or he could be the next Steve McNair ... Fields just ran a 4.44 40 at OSU pro day .If he gets drafted by 49 ers he will be an all pro ...if he gets drafted by Falcons he ll be a bust ...

These are his position rankings, not his mock draft. In his draft he has Wilson going 2nd to the Jets. In other wordes he beleives Fields is the second best qb propsect. But we know the Jets feel like Wilson is the best fit for their system.

I can't believe I'm defending Mel Kiper, but his take isn't nearly as stupid as Chris Simms' is (has Kellen Mond above Justin Fields).

Fields is a hell of an athlete with a great arm and has a high celing and is much better than Mond, of course. But looking at his stats suggest that he sucks when he is pressured. The other top qb's have a slight drop off in qbr while being rushed, everybody's does. But Fields' drops much further than the others and is less than half of the others.
