The part that bothers me just a little bit is that so many people seem to actually believe it.

Pearl has obviously not been caught committing major violations but it was pretty common knowledge how dirty some of those recruitments were. Most obviously did not care as our fans didn’t even want to fire him when he got a show cause but I believe Selby (who was committed to Tennessee but eventually ended up at KU and had some eligibility questions), Harris and Hopson were all voted in the top 10 dirtiest recruitments of the decade in a poll Parrish did with coaches.

Florida would also apparently have been willing to hire Chip Kelly as their football coach. A guy who was given a show cause for dealing with street agents/ paying players. Lol at you trying to play a morality card

Well, Bruce Pearl will be fired from Auburn before long and when it happens I expect we will see Bowl take another hiatus from here. Dude is completely self-deluded. Pearl is dirty AF and it's obvious to anyone outside Auburn, Alabama.

If I had to put money on it, Florida and Kentucky would be 1-2 seeds for the SEC tourney, followed by #3 Tennessee and #4 Auburn.
Georgia has the talent to be in the mix, but I question Mark Fox's stature as an elite coach.

It’s a well known fact basketball recruiting has been dirty for years. Every coach and every team that has any talent at all plays the same recruiting games. Pearl is no different, Avery is no different, Anderson is no different, Calipari is no different, etc. Even Braxton Key was paid by Bama. Get off your high horse. Everybody is playing the same recruiting games. Even Anderson and Arkansas.
