They may have the better overall record but I believe we'd have the higher seed in the SECT for our head to head W.

They won't be but it's not like anyone is dominating this league. I guess you could say Auburn but any day now their coach could be arrested so does it really matter?

It's just true. It works for Auburn and is damn smart. I felt the exact same way about Petrino but our AD was too pridefull. Auburn is arguably the worst bball program in SEC history and if you can get an elite coach then it's worth some level of risk. Same with Arkansas football.

Not really just bc it's Auburn. One good season isn't going to bring them to the top all of a sudden. It's still Auburn so in the end the best that can be done is an NCAAT appearance once every 7 or 8 seasons. It's just what it is. But this season is great for them.

Somewhat true but historicall Arkansas is a top 25 program. I would be surprised if historically Auburn is a top 80 bball program.

Again, your ball team has not made the NCAAT since Dubya was in his 1st term as president. No matter how you slice it that is a record. The case can be made that Auburn is historically the worst ball program in the SEC. That can't be said about Arkansas in any sport.
