Also, James had the potential to be one of Saban’s best tight ends since he took over at Alabama.

Wasn't even in the top 300 composite and did OJ Howard get removed from history?

Irv Smith was the #530 composite player.

One went to Alabama to win championships;
much like Eddie Lacy, Kenny Bell, Isaiah Buggs, Cam Robinson and Landon Collins.

The other went west, and to not win championships.

Bad comparison.

He just simply answered the “where is he from “question. Wasn’t really a comparison discussion.

Not sure why he’s seething over that

I hope the admins notice his posting patterns. Guy freaks out in every thread. He needs a break imho.

For a guy who doesn't even know who Jaylen Waddle is, you obviously spend a ton of time with the "wannabe" research on Alabama football. You're a strange bird, Lil Billie. You suck Alabama's dick by staying up on everything "Alabama", then you go on a message board and trash'em. Looks like the classic approach of "if I can't boast of Alabama's accomplishments, then I don't want anyone else to".
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I found out that you sleep in an Alabama jersey on the down low.

James has the potential to be a great TE, however his off the field issues have been a problem.

Wish him luck

Kedrick James is a starter. That other Wandel kid isn’t. And please keep your personal attacks out of here.

Back to the topic: Who will Alabama have to fill the role of OJ/Irv. I don’t see anyone who can play that spot. Defending a dynamic TE is very tough.

I would say a dynamic TE is why your WRs were able to get open. Without that big body threat, you can slide another corner in to defend a WR rather than relying on a safety or LB.

Which different Alabama publications and sports boards do you use to get your "fix", Billie Boy? Does it excite you to think about having a team like Alabama as "your" team?..to be able to cheer for and pubically wear their gear? Its gotta be tough on you. I can just imagine you going into your room and locking the door, grabbing your BAMA jersey out from under your mattress, and putting it on, all the while walking back and forth in front of your mirror admiring yourself. you're a hoot, Son!...never change!

Irv Smith best year: 710 yards, 7 TD

OJ best year: 602 yards, 2 TD

Kedrick could’ve been special based on that.

PED suspension is 1 year, things like weed are like 4-6 games.

So I'm guessing it was weed.

It was weed. He had to give it up to get out of the doghouse, but the knucklehead has failed in that regard. Strike 3, he gone. It's a shame he's squandered his talent and the great opportunity he had at Bama. Hopefully, he'll grow up and take advantage of a fresh start somewhere

He'll have to sit out a year if a school takes him as an incoming transfer, but he can redshirt to avoid losing one of his two years of remaining eligibility. However, I think he'll still have to serve his four game suspension after that.
