And for the sake of this thread and the criteria Chicken laid out, that doesn't matter at all.

I always like to phrase the Bama qualifying for the 2011 BCS game by stating LSU couldn't beat a team that couldn't win its own division.
Talk about what should have been a gimme national championship.

Alabama: 4
UF: 3
Nebraska: 3
LSU: 2
FSU: 2
Auburn: 1
Texas: 1
USC: 1*
Ohio State: 1
Miami: 1
Oklahoma: 1
Tennessee: 1

Works for me.

Hugo sent him a PM and warned him he'd be banned if he continued to troll Alabama fans.

But screw it, the thread stays.

That's pretty silly considering that the reason Alabama didn't win the west is because they lost to LSU at home.

Didn't happen unless you recognize we have 153 national championships.
ETA: Didn't happen unless you recognize we have 197 national championships. Going up every minute you don't acknowledge!

Moses played QB for the first ever Bama title team, and they haven't lost one since. Except when they beat themselves.

Moses was a game manager.

In our 1939 bowl game we beat an SEC team that at the time was undefeated (#5 Tulane), while the #2 (and other SEC unbeaten) Tennessee was shutout by twice-tied USC.

So we were the only unbeaten, untied team in the entire country in 1939.

So why can't we claim that?

Your sig says it all, "Jan 9 2012 will go down as one of the worst days in LSU Football history" plus a picture of the "choke" gesture.
