What exactly do the locations have to do with the "accomplishments" in these two places?

I've only read about 10 posts in this thread and I feel like I need another shower. There's a lot of shite posting happening in here.

The state of Alabama would literally be without humans if not for Alabama sports?
Interesting theory, I guess. Would we spontaneously combust or disintegrate or what? Like a Thoros finger snap kind of thing?
I’m basing this off of how the Alabama fans treat any other fans who dare to show pride in their own school. It’s like the Muslims who want to destroy anyone who dares to draw a cartoon of Muhammad.

I can’t tell if you’re serious.

So without Muhammad Muslims would cease to exist?
I'm not quite following your drunken rationale, here.

Well the overwhelming majority of the individuals who worked on and flew in those early missions were not from Houston or anywhere near that. So, again, not sure what Houston, TX itself has to do with the accomplishments of men and women from Ohio, Colorado, Mississippi, New Jersey, etc. Unless we've now decided to use a different rationale on this one, too.
It's ok to just say "I was wrong" about Alabama having a large NASA facility and white, sandy beaches. It's not a big deal.

5-2? I am sure the softball gals are thoroughly embarrassed.

No, the sports for the local college team is the only reason for y’all’s existence. Look how upset y’all get when any other fan base shows any pride in their own school. You treat it personally, and it’s weird.
This is what I said.

I was making a comparison as to how you bama fans treat all others who dare to show pride in their school. You really didn’t make that connection?

So you really do not have any clue about what’s in Houston? Wow

Those 2 things aren't the same.
If you said "sports for the local college sports team are the only thing you have to look forward to in your sorry existence".........that would make sense. And it would carry over to the Muslim comparison - the only thing they have to care about in their existence is Muhammad/Islam, and therefore they lash out against those that denigrate it.
You didn't say that, though. You said sports are the "only reason for our existence", which implies we only exist due to local college team sports. The next step in that lin of thinking would be, so what if the local college sports wasn't around? We'd cease to exist?
So, the whole Muslim point didn't make sense. Good talk.

So you really do not have any clue about what's in Huntsville (and we're not even mentioning the whole Space Force thing here).
Thanks for proving this one out for us.

Of course, but it’s not comparable to Houston.
You’re the legs, Houston is the brains.

High key ironic, considering this whole nonsensical spat began with an LSU fan making fun of Bama fans for caring about women’s sports.

People generally don't refer to the "legs" of an operation as the people "developing" something.
But, if this is the standard we want to use, then the odd man out of this little game of musical chairs would pretty clearly be Florida - which is literally only in the NASA discussion because they decided it was the best location to shoot things into space and nothing else.

I apologize, I should have simplified it.
The point remains that you bama fans treat any and all other fans who dare to show pride in their school in the same manner that Muslims treat anyone who dares to even draw Muhammad. It’s incredibly weird.

Bama fans get dumber and more butt hurt by the day. What a fricking trashy fan base.

Yea, that's it, it was "too complicated". Nice try.

Places all over the country were responsible for “developing” different aspects of things that contributed to our space exploration.

When you think of NASA, what image comes to your mind?
