What more is there to renovate and add on to BDS? Has the entire stadium been pretty well overhauled in the last 10 years or so?

Who knows. Coleman could be on fire and Bama’s first priority would be to fix the squeaky stalls in the Bryant Denny bathrooms

There is a lot of space with garbage buildings with little one off centers and institutes that could be consolidated between campus drive and river road/jack warner parkway. They might not need to lose parking to build it.

We're on a mission to make Jurdan Hayer look that much more like the tin can it is.

Hi internet legend SummerOfGeorge,

Can you confirm that this structure will not in fact be the smallest basketball arena in the SEC? Thanks!

I can only convey the state secrets I have been made away of the last 2 months and while it will be smaller than The Coleman Coliseum it will not, in fact, be the smallest arena in the Southeastern Conference.

Nothing worse than a squeaky door.

Hey now, the Regions Bank Suite can't be outfitted with 2021 furnishings.

Some thoughts on where they could put it without even touching other buildings...

Make sense spending millions on a building used 9 times a year. At least a multiple purpose arena will get some use. I'm sure it will include a practice facility also. That is the trend now.

Wouldn't want executives to be forced to use two year old toilets.

Smaller arenas are ok if done right. There's still nothing like a basketball arena with 20,000 fans getting loud.

Sitting up top at Bud Walton Arena looking down on the mass of people during a game is a very impressive experience.

I know we are renovating soon, but I hope we don't decrease capacity much, if any.

Not about the size but the design of the arena. If it was about size than Syracuse would have a huge advantage with the Carrier Dome. What makes AUs Arena intimidating is the closeness to the court by the students, the sight lines and most of all how the upper ring is designed.
