Alabama should not be in the conversation when talking about the CFP. They are not playing in the SEC championship game and any team with 3 losses should not be considered.
There has to be 12 teams make the playoffs now, there are going to be years with 3 loss teams.

Why don't just wait? It will be announced soon enough.

If a 2-loss team can play for a national title when the "playoffs" were only two teams, then why shouldn't a 3-loss team make a 12-team playoff?

They can, it just shouldn't be Bama according to the mouth-breathers around here who are melting about it

Go look at the 2018 post rivalry week AP top 25. Four 3 loss teams would have made the playoff that year. Three at large bids and the Washington Huskies being an automatic qualifier with 3 losses for winning their conference title. With conferences being tougher now the number of three loss teams will only increase.

I just find it deeply ironic when LSU fans make the "3 loss teams shouldn't be in the playoffs" argument.

I agree with this. However, I think South Carolina is the most or "more" deserving.
They could be one of the top 5 teams in the country right now.

College Football shows again and again how nature points out the folly of man.
12-team playoffs, NIL, portal, overtime rules, ...
Men are a joke.

Why would you not think Bama is in?

No 3 loss team should sniff the playoff.
What if Georgia losses to Texas in the SEC championship game? They should be automatically disqualified because they have 3 losses?
What if Clemson beats SMU in the ACC championship? They should be automatically disqualified because they have 3 losses?
That is what you are saying.

OU kicked that Bama arse then the next week LSU kicked OU in the arse.
Nothing to see here obviously right?
And Alabama kicked LSU in the arse in Tiger Stadium at night. What the hell is your point?

Bama lost to Vandy and Oklahoma. That fact alone should keep them.out of the playoffs.

Bama is a mid team in the SEC this year. The only thing that gets them in is their brand. Total BS. They have two of the worse losses in the SEC this year.
