Understanding why MSU hates Auburn

1974: Shug Jordan led the effort to ban Cow Bells (Artificial noisemakers) from the stadium (They were banned for 36 years)
Why Auburn hates MSU, Cowbells and of course 2010: Mullin, His wife and other at MSU were in the middle of an all-out effort to have Cam declared ineligible.

I hate Auburn cause they whine about everything being unfair more than any other SEC Team.
It was the same thing last year when the great Stidham couldn't even score double digits against us.

It’s more simple then that. They wish they could be Auburn and they will never be anything other than State. It is very painful and it shows in the way they post here.

I think as fellow little bros they expect Auburn fans to empathize with them. Instead Auburn fans just tell them to get fricked

They were "banned". We still brought them to stadiums and rang them and nothing was done about them until Ole Miss got tired of losing to us during the Sherrill era and lobbied the SEC to enforce the rule.
Ol' Shug didn't do anything but cement a tradition.

I can assure you nobody in Maroon gives a shite about Auburn, let alone want to be anything like Auburn. You can't even consistently beat MSU on the field anymore. When you lose, you go full PMS about Gus, or about the officials, or whatever.

I don't think I have read anyone from Auburn bragging about "exclusivity"
But I am willing to bet that you wish MSU has had the football success that AU has had in recent years (SEC West titles, SEC Championships, a National Championship, etc.)

It’s okay man, lots of opposing fans outside of the of the Big 6 wish they could have a program like Auburn. Stop fighting your feelings, it’s not a good look for you right now.

I actually like the State fans I've come across. It's a nice campus too. Mullen was a bit of a prick about Cam but it happens. See George Pickens this year as an example.

AU athletics has been a dumpster fire for the most part my entire lifetime. Y’all go all in on football to try to compete with your big brother, and yes, sometimes you put together a good team. But 8-4 is more typical for y’all. There is nothing there to envy. Get over it.
