A&M (1994) went 10-0-1.

These 4 seasons could have been derailed by UF. 4 Epic games.

Well 2009 wasn't epic, but should have been.

1993 does not count since because of probation you did not play in the SECC game or a bowl game. Bama was undefeated in reg seasonin 92, 94, 08, 09, 16, 18.

Also, in 04, since you were the odd man out, you played and struggle to beat a 9th ranked VT team. Today you would have to play a top 4 team. It counts but pretty weak.

Auburn has no one to blame but themselves for refusing to play an AQ OOC.

Pretty sure you forgot LSU going undefeated last year.

You mean the same VT team that USCheat needed a bs pass interference call to beat that year? And obviously you didn’t watch the game if you think Auburn struggled. That game was never in doubt.

At least they actually played an AQ OOC.

Was A&M really unbeaten that year? Impressive. What was their final ranking? I always liked watching Bucky Richardson play back in the 80's.

Banned from playing in a bowl. So 5-6 Rice was one of the SWC champs.

One national title out of three undefeated seasons. Impressive.

It's not Auburn's fault the systems for choosing National Champions have more to do with politics and beauty pageants than which team is best.

2004 was the biggest hose job...it was a prime example of media hype vs actual on the field talent. The next 10 years revealed Auburn was not only the best team, but the more physically talented team.

Bro,USC would have destroyed y’all. At least this way y’all can claim y’all got robbed

Oklahoma probably would have beat y’all too, that would have been a good game

Facts and perception are not the same...We had a better OL, DL, DB's, WR's and QB. We had a push at RB if you look at the 10 year projection, but in that time and place Auburn had the better backs Caddie just got hurt a few years later.

Reggie Bush/Lendale White was a better duo than Cadillac and Ronnie Brown IN COLLEGE.

Leinart>Campbell.... Leinart won the Heisman

Should've played an AQ OOC.

8th in the AP. Unranked in the coaches due to probation.

AU was obviously the superior team but they won by 6 and it was not a "backdoor" cover. In fact, VT could have won as they got close twice with no points. But it doesn't really matter - AU won the game. They were probably not overjoyed to be there. My main point was that AU was actually fortunate not make the BCS title game as USC would have boatraced them. At least you got an undefeated season and a reason to whine out of it.

USC had beaten your brains out the previous year at your place with a first time QB. They would have smoked you. USC's wins vs you the previous 2 years was one of the reasons you were shut out of the game by the voters. They did not want to see another bloodbath. The voters felt OU deserved a shot - AU had had theirs.

So, if it’s close at playoff time this year, Bama should not get in because they got destroyed by Clemson last year and your logic holds that would have to happen again. Correct?
