Watch it again. The dismissive gesture was to the first base coach (they do it every HR). First basemen isn’t even in his line of sight (he’s actually on the infield grass)

He literally turned and specifically 'waved bye' at him. Have you even seen the play? Did you even watch the game? UGA fan so prob not.
Dude doesn't stop making gestures and spinning and taunting the entire trip around the bases. He's doing something with his hands and spinning and cursing and showboating the whole time.

Liberty Coach was out of the dugout throwing a tantrum to the Home plate umpire by the time Phelps was at second. I was sitting first base side last night and saw the whole thing unfold.
Okay....again, it's odd I have to explain it to you, but the Liberty coach can't eject a player. Man how long is UGA gonna have to be good at baseball before their fans actually start learning the game?

I was at the game sitting on the 1B side. But go off with your wishcasting.

Y'all are aware, of course, that the Liberty head coach didn't toss him right?
I know y'all are real new to baseball, but he can't actually do that. The umpire has to do it. And the umpire had a reason to do it.
I guess the ump thought it was weird Phelps was looking at his grandma while grabbing is nutsack.
He didn't toss him, but he cried to the powers that be that he should be tossed.
He had no idea what he said. He assumed. He was wrong. There clear pictures of his family sitting right above the dugout.. Liberty is in the dugout. Everyone there is either at eye level with him on the top step or below him. He has his head tilted slightly back and is clearly looking up into the stands. The only thing he did to them is it does appear he waves at the first baseman who is literally following him as he is halfway between first and second and shouting something at him.
Again though, I don't care if he actually did taunt them (I don't think he did) a suspension for the next game is way overboard. In football it would be a 15 yard penalty. In basketball it would be a freethrow attempt. It's silly. Toss him. Okay. Suspension for a full game is just waaaay overboard.

I know who he is, you idiot. Unlike you, I've been following college baseball for longer than one season. Congrats that your team is good this one year. Wow, we're all super impressed.
AF has been pumping Georgia all year. He has a vested interest in "being right" at the very least, but he has seemed to be a homer all year. Now, he just "happens" to be at the Athens regional? hmmmm

This is the kind of ignorance you see when you lose an argument.

Why is the first baseman following him around and shouting at him? Is that the norm? Why is he still in the game? Phelps turned around because he was yelling at him. It's not like he just looked back at him and waved.
Still pics of course with no context.
Liberty coach PC:
Coach: "He did enough to be ejected... He made remarks to our dugout..."
Reporter: "What did he say?"
Coach: "...3633 people yelling at the top of their lungs, I'm not sure, but it wasn't good."
Reporter 2: "What did he say? What made you so mad?"
Coach: "I couldn't hear it."
If he were honest:
Reporter: "What made you so mad?"
Coach: "We were set up for a big upset and he ended that dream with one swing."

When it's been 15 seconds and the dude is just rounding first base, yes that's very normal.

Your fellow UGA fan said that Phelps was waiving at his first base coach and the Liberty first baseman wasn't even in his line of sight because he was standing on the infield grass. A still pic is more than enough to prove that idiot wrong.

No, you are too ignorant to understand facts. You low IQ dildoes just need to get drool on your SAT....

Yes, but you also haven't said anything to give context to that action. I'm giving it.

Excellent retort. Full of facts and evidence to back your argument. 10/10 post, would read again.
PS: There is no 'e' in 'dildos'. Weird you need a dumb State fan to help you spell a two syllable word.
