You do realize from high school through the pros in every sport make the playoffs without winning the conference title.

If LSU beats Bama & loses close game to UGA in SEC championship, does 1 loss Bama still get in with only decent wins over A & M, Auburn & MSU or could 2 loss LSU get in with win over Bama, split with UGA & wins over A & M, Auburn & MSU?

Now this, this would be interesting. They'd likely go Alabama but I think I'd rather go LSU.
