UK players facing burglary charges return to practice

Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones first reported on Monday that “a few” had returned to the practice field on Monday while adding that he didn’t specifically know which players were back. BBN Tonight’s Anna Maria Tarullo later reported that all 6 players were back.
Reuben “RJ” Adams, Robert JuTahn McClain, Andru Phillips, Earnest Sanders IV, Devito Tisdale, and Joel Williams were charged with first-degree burglary in August, with all 6 pleading not guilty.
Stoops suggested on his radio show that there was some good news coming, but didn’t specify. The players were supposed to go before a grand jury this week, so this suggests charges were likely dropped.

They sat out until a UK review board ok’d their return. Charges were then filed several months later with LPD. Then they went before a grand jury.

You should probably not comment on things you do not understand. And calling these guys thugs is out of line. The whole thing was blown out of proportion, all based on hearsay, and charges coming from a March incident, didn’t appear until fall camp (5 months later for you math challenged). Some frat boys got their feelings hurt and they have since tried to smear the names and careers of these players.

As LK said, they’re likely not even in game shape so doubtful they play any meaningful reps unless it’s an injury situation. It’s really as simple as they went before the grand jury Monday.
